I'll be right over! haha :) I'm a poor college student...so tonight, it's either soup and a wheat baguette, or a frozen mini pizza, with carrots! :)

I will not be eating well for dinner tonight. My husband has a craving for what we call "ghetto lasagna." It's cooked egg noodles, american singles cheese, and cooked bacon layered and baked and topped with tomato sauce. It sounds gross and it's a lot of calories, but it is very tastey, and even better reheated the next day.

Recipe for this? Always looking for something new :)

At our house I just put peppers, onions, sweet italian sausage and spaghetti sauce on low in the crockpot to cook away for supper tonight. Will serve over whole wheat pasta.

**the chicken sausage option is really good with this too if it's available in your area. Cuts down on some of the calories AND if I don't tell the family they never know ;)

I'm a little nervous about dinner tonight! It's a graduation party and this is the menu.

Pulled pork bbq or Italian beef on buns.

    Potato salad

    Creamy cole slaw

    CAKE!

I don't even know if there will be any healthy stuff there but I'll watch my portions and I'm going to exercise before I go so I have a few extra calories to eat. It's all about adjusting your former 'lifestyle' to the new, healthier one!

DH is grilling a lean marinated steak tonight. I always get him to do a skewer of grilled mushrooms on the side for me. I fill up on half meat, half shrooms. I think I am going to try making mashed cauliflower for the first time tonight as a side.

It's taco night - and while the rest of the family will have regular fully-loaded tacos, I'll have a modified version - taco bowl (without the shell), a little less meat, and lot more veggies, topped off with some avocado! I can't wait!
