"then we lose our damn minds and stuff our faces with delicious delicious junk food".

Thats how i feel when I have a binge like I lost my mind, specially when I can't seem to stop eating. Thanks for the post

I could easily eat 714 cheetos.

That's all I really have to add to this conversation.

eh people who have a binge eating disorder can easily eat double that. i remember binges where i ate a whole tub of icecream along with pb out of the jar or melted on top (almost all of it) at 100 cals a tbs i could easily eat 50. i understand what you are saying though.

Great write up..some people are way to strict and don't allow thenselves to splurge, which usually doesn't work long term. You need to treat yourself every now and then.

2000 calories is about what your body needs to maintain your weight and keep all your organs doing all those lovely keeping you alive things that they do. Your body burns all those calories at rest. That means that while you’re sitting on your *kitten*, walking to the fridge and back, scrolling through tumblr, etc etc.. your body is making you breathe and make new cells and **** and burns those 2000 calories.

That's not true of everyone. You shouldn't make generalizations like that. It's hard to take seriously your larger point.

I knew this in my brain, but reading it on your post gives me the confirmation that this really does make good sense. We don't have to be food-nazis!
