    The practicality of cleaning dirty stuff from home flooring. Carpeting holds so much more dirt and crud in the little nooks and crannies, in my opinion.

    Hardwood as long as it's real and not that crap that locks together and is as thick as a piece of cardboard. I just like the sound of creaking wood in the middle of the night over silence of walking over carpet.
