Sounds great - and doable, even in rainy Washington!! I have a questions, though. Some people commit to walking 10K steps a day, no matter what. How do you do that, if you work fulltime and have other evening commitments? Help!!0

I have been carrying a pedometer for years since long before I retired.....wearing or carrying a pedometer made me conscious of the steps I was taking and bit by bit I found ways to add a few steps to almost anything I was doing......you won't get to 10,000 steps a day right away, but little by little your totals will grow....another thing is that I began to re-evaluate how I spent my time...for example, I used to do a lot of crafts with my free time and now I do fewer crafts and more walking when I have some extra time.

What a wonderful idea!
It is so easy to have the busiest day of your life and feel like a failure because you didn't get a workout in. Before hopping into bed, we can all drop to the floor and do some crunches or something, just to fit in maybe 5 minutes of exercise. Something is ALWAYS better than nothing!0 -

Hello from Chicago!
On April 1st I said I'll add exercise to my "Be Healthy & Fit 2012 Journey." It took about 2 months before I found something I'm sticking with.
It was May 29 when I started my daily exercise using Just Dance 3's 7-Day Challenge in the WII game console. I just might be at the start of a new healthy habit. Yay! (I'm using Dancing Aerobics to calculate approximate calories burned.)
