What's one thing you hate about working out?

Getting bored, there isn't a gym anywhere around here so I do exercise videos in my basement, which I love. But by the time I get to know it, I'm bored with it and want a new one, or something for my wii. I'm such a Gemini.0

I hate it when I do to much cardio and it makes my throat hurts0

I LOVE working out, but the thing that really gets irritating is when I have to mess up my clean, freshly flat ironed, super soft hair.0
-
this may sound dumb but I really hate changing my clothes so often. From work clothes to work out clothes to pajama's. just so much changing. Sometimes it's the reason I don't work out, which is stupid.0

Just the general feeling of wanting to die during the workout. That and the sore boobs, more in classes, e.g zumba. The instructor is really flat chested, and is forever on at us to shake 'em harder . It hurts! Plus I hate being expected to do all the shouting and whooping in certain classes. I'm just not that kinda person! smile:0

Me too!!0 -
I hate people talking to me while I'm trying to work.
I hate the crowds.
I hate working out around a lot of people.
I hate cardio. :P
But I really do love working out. I look forward to getting in the gym and love the doms the following days.0 -
Mornings.
I only have about an hour to work out so I have to go fairly intense.
It also means that I have to get everything ready the night before (clothing for the next day, food prepared, ect).
I have a 5:00 wakeup and I have to be at work by 8:00.
In between all of that, I have to work out, shower, and actually GET to work.
and I hate feeling like I am about to DIE during a workout and the trainer says PUSH YOURSELF!! IF I push myself any harder people will be picking out casket colors for me!! ****!! LOL0 -
Sweating...and the ladies locker room smells like someone needs an autopsy.0
-
I hate when the space i have in my room isn't enough for the moves a dvd wants me to do. :-(0
-
I just can't find a supportive bra.
I just go topless...I can't find a supportive bra either.
I'm a free-baller
Hence why you don't jog???
Nice^^0 -
the hour drive and getting up at 3am0

Me too!!
It's your breathing techniques....slow down and breathe threw your nose.
Also lot's of eye contact0 -
That I sweat like a man. Like seriously, with the simplest movement I end up dripping wet. I use to be super self-conscious about it but now I'm like whatever, it is what it is. Health is now top priority.0

When people are huddled in the area talking around the machine you want to use at the gym. For one I don't wan't to have to ask them to move, but then even if you do move past them they don't go very far and keep peeking back over at you >:(
It's so freaking annoying!! lol it's why I run outside to stay away from people when working out0 -
The "working out" part.0
-
sweating.. to me it feels gross...0
-
The terrible music that gyms play way too loud!......haha I sound like my grandma, but it's true!0
-
I hate trying to make it to the gym to workout. Once I'm there I love everything about it. One thing I am having trouble with is learning how to use all of the machines on my own...I feel like such an idiot.0
-
I hate how red my face gets. For 2 hours after my workout I am beet red. And all my coworkers comment.
:blushing:0 -
agreeing with most people: others who sit on the machines or text/talk/waste my friggin time
annnnd showering so much. it's not good for my hair and I just like being dry, but with 2 workouts a day i have to shower the nasty sweat off or I stink and feel gross.0 -
People who mean mug me while I am working out. I work hard, I sweat... a lot, deal with it. I don't *****-foot around, I'm not there to socialize or make you happy.0
-
I don't mind the working out part. I have found I enjoy running, but I hate pushing my kiddos(4 and 2) in the stroller. They either need to lose weight or start running themselves. And I am not liking this desert heat.0
-
Never fails halfway through my run I always have to pee even if I haven't drank anything before hand. Good thing about it though it ups my pace so I can make it to the bathroom quicker :laugh:0

Making time. 40 minutes of actual workout turns into 10 minutes of dressing, and 20 minutes of showering. So, if you have an hour in between work and going somewhere it's hard to talk yourself into doing it! But I do, everytime, the benefits outweigh the time crunch...0
-
I get SO bored =( My treadmill is in the front room...and everyone hangs out everywhere else.. ='(0

Sweat dripping into my eyes when I'm in the middle of a big lift. What a pita
People staring at me. It makes me flare my nosrils and stare back at them all weird.
People using their back to do barbell curls.0 -
Most of my workouts are on trails through the woods, so right now, the thing I hate most is bugs!!
YES! I always work out ouside, hiking or biking...damn blackflies are rediculous!
UGH! This is one of the reasons why I finally broke down and got a gym membership! First of all I live in Florida, ambient temp outside is over 80 for at least 6 months out of the year, usually with 80% or more humidity , then there's the gnats, ticks, chiggers, yellow flies, wasps, mosquitos, snakes, etc. etc. etc. And lets not forget the dogs in my neighborhood that people don't seem to be able to keep in their own yards!
I hate not ever feeling like I have enough time. If I go to the gym, what else am I neglecting? (Housework, time with hubby/kids/grandmother, etc.)0 -
I usually end up walking or riding or skating on the road so I hate when people just fly by u at 60 mph0
-
I hate having to leave the gym and go back home again, I love that focusing on working out means I forget all the other stuff going on in my life for a while.0
