    when I take a pill I have to fill my mouth with water then toss it in. Someone noticed once and said I was completely backwards. Now I think about it every time I take a pill

    I have a genius level IQ and have no social skills. But, no one knows that because I mimic and predict the behavior of everyone around me. I use my smarts to fake social skills lol.

    Are you Aspergers or autistic? I ask because my 16 year old son is. He is BRILLIANT but lacks any sort of social filter. We call him Sheldon....LOL!

    Never been diagnosed with those, but i have been diagnosed with ADHD and a few other things. And noone knows either of those things about me =/

    A lot of those things mimic each other, so it's hard to tell what is causing what. My son is an Aspie, has ADHD, OCD, a touch of Tourettes, and a bit of depression. He does surprisingly well in life all things considered. He has a job, gets decent grades in school, and plays violin like a virtuoso. We've always just sort of told him that it was the hand life dealt him, and that we would help him learn to deal with it. He has a good sense of humor about it though... certainly not the death sentance it sounds like, kwim?

    I can't look people in the eye, I have to be very familiar with you to even hold your gaze for a minute or so at a time. It's ironic because when I draw, I obsess over the eyes of the subject I'm drawing and I love to draw eyes in general, that and I find them an attractive trait. But I just cannot look people in the eye, it freaks me out and I get the feeling they're in my head.

    Me too! The same exact thing. I cannot look anyone in the eyes very long, but I looove eyes.

    I have an irrational fear of leaving the closet door open in the bedroom when I go to bed.... I completely blame it on my brothers... they rigged our bedroom door so they could open and close it from their beds (I'm the youngest of five boys)

    I'm not sure if nobody knows this but I was a crazy student, from being a 3rd honor way back in pre-school to having 3 failing grades in high school to bribing professors & cutting classes in college but still was able to graduate, LOL

    I have an imaginary "best male friend" that I'm talking with everyday & until now.

    I was square dance champ in my school... What may be worse is that I still remember the songs... Now honor your partners & the corners all... Now all join hands and circle to the left... ugh... I can't...

    And I would still like to do it again... please let this be our little secret lol

    My first memory was when my mother and I had to stop at the farm and get water for the cows and horses. I had to pee SO BADLY and we just came from town and there was Bounty paper towels in the grocery bag next to me. So what does a 3 year old do? I placed Bounty on the seat of our NEW SUBURBAN and peed right there because aren't they supposed to absorb everything???? This is not a bad mark for Bounty, just a typical story of a kid who needs to GO! :)

    None of these are a secret, but they're all things people don't see because once they see the military uniform, they can't see past their own stereotypes...
    - I am intelligent (145 IQ) and free-thinking
    - I'm not republican
    - I support gay rights (for both moral and fiscal reasons)
    - I make my own soap
    - Sappy commercials totally make me cry
    - I wear tie-dyed underwear in uniform

    When I am at home by myself at night I set traps for the "boogie man", I'll get all the pots and pans out and line the door ways with them so I can hear some one is coming! LOL. I get those random thoughts in the shower only when I am washing my hair and my eyes are closed that someone is there and ready to get me when I open them..

    I feed the feral cats downtown everyday. I even go feed on Saturdays/Sundays. I make sure the water I put down has ice in it so they can have a refreshing sip o' H2O. I try to do it quickly so no one will see and say sappy stuff like "awwwwwwwww that's sooooooooo cute" i just wanna say "ah shaddap" LOL

    I like animals better than I like people

    I have panic attacks and take anxiety medication frequently. Not many people know it, I hide it as best as I can. stemming from a fire I had almost 2 years ago. I hear or see firetrucks or sirens of any type and it sets me off. Smoke alarms too, any loud beepy noise really. Thank God I'm finally starting to get better with it though :)

    lol! this made me giggle :laugh:

    I never had brothers, but I hate my closet doors being open too, there's always this one blanket or something that pokes out and looks like a foot or hand that's attached to the man coming to get you!

    I did the same when I was younger lol!! I don't have a real bed, just boxspring and mattress on the floor, so no one can get under there, but it still weirds me out a little

    Glad to hear you are getting better :) I have pretty bad anxiety as well..it is no fun :(

    It is these daily thoughts/feelings that drive the myriad of horror stories I write (and haunt my subconscious)...
