So frustrated to the point of tears. I have been stuck in the 207-204 range for soooo long. It seems I can only get down to 204.2 (which I did earlier this week) but I can't break past that! I'm am frustrated but I'm not giving up! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!

This thread is going to roll over soon! For you newer members, once a thread reaches the equivalent of 500 messages, it becomes locked. To see where it continues, go to the end of page 20 (when this thread becomes locked and you can no longer reply). You will see an arrow, to click on, to where the thread has continued.

Any weigh ins after this post will not be on this week's chart.

Thank you to all who did their weigh ins on time!

BLloudy-Onederland is Onederful! Can't wait to join you there! No condemnation for "roller coaster"...be patient and continue to fight forward!

DterMined2012- It's water weight! You will be fine....been there done that. When I learned how many calories you would have to actually eat above your TDEE to gain 1 pound in 1 week (3500) it helped me not to panic when I saw a fluctuation in the scale. That's 3500 above the amount of calories you burn in one week...not the deficit you set for weight loss. Definitely water weight! You'll be fine.

Amy-Heck yeah! No gain is a victory. New week....Now Rock It!

kcthatsme - loved the link. Having one of those days that I just want to poor hot fudge on top of...needed to be reminded of what it takes to be successful.

luvinlife58-It is wonderful having a loss right before you travel or change your routine. Use it as motivation to PLAN instead of HOPE not to gain - You got this!

RockyMtnJhawk - My prayers are with you and your family for speedy recovery for your baby!

bcdpearce - happy for your father's recovery. It is funny about the number of calories we ate before vs. the volume of food we eat now with lower calories. I eat way more food now than before...just better choices.

Kvonjohn- I understand your frustration but continue to put the Word on it! You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. You are victorious! Act on it! Your future self will thank you for believing and not giving up no matter how challenging this journey.

The easiest way I've found to keep track of my weigh ins is to copy the list of dates to a text file on my computer desktop. I then just open it and add the new weight and and copy it to the post. That way I don't have to try to remember prior weigh ins or find an old post.

Poggy18 - Water challenge... Great going!

SRPM - eating out + scale number not increasing = success!

amcjunkin - birthday cake/cookies + weight loss = woo hoo!

Audrine - Yay for not taking the whole summer off! :-)

cmm7303 - Great new profile pic!

mom2four - Thank you so much for your post. "I am surprised how much accountability and thoughtfulness this has brought to my health regimes. I've been exercising for several months and kinda watching what I eat but having put down these goals and shared them so honestly has been a bigger deal than I would have expected." That is exactly why I think long term challenges are sooo helpful for weight loss! You can definitely lose 4! And then 6, 8, etc... In fact, I was close to what you weigh, when I started. I was 181.2 and am now 135.6. Just focus on one lb at a time. Focus on one day of green numbers at a time. Focus on one exercise session at a time. Focus on drinking your water, one day at a time. You can do this! You are on your way!

darzinger - Congrats on your follow through!

NavyKnightAh13 - I hope you and your son get well soon! Good luck with your 5k!

thurberj - Victory! Nice new profile pic also. :-)

    adm88 - I don't have a fitbit but I'm thinking about getting one.

bcdpearce - Great job on not turning to food for comfort!

Congrats to everyone who made it into the next decade!

Ty!!!!!!!!! Yeah, went into the doctor, found out I did end up with his hand, foot, and mouth, so it isn't just limited to children, though according to the doctors, I'm a rare case that got it. To add to it, they changed my inhaler over because i was put on flovent 6 years ago, not albuterol like i was suppose to be, and now waiting grading from my professor on a project that was rather stressful for my management class. The great thing from last week: for the first time in my life, got a 90% on my graphing test from my basic algebra class (please don't make fun of me).

Sorry if you wrote to me and I missed you.

I went back 3 pages on the old thread and wanted to read the whole thing but I'm expected to work sometimes (blah work is overrated), take care of my kid daily (you would think by 4 she could find a job already and start supporting me), and oh yeah, I'm have to run so that I can finish my half marathon in October (what was I thinking when i decided to get healthy.) Sarcasm aside this seems like a great group.

For a challenge for this week, how about making sure you are hitting 30 grams of fiber per day? I know it keeps me regular.

Below are the comments I have from the first (or would this be second) weigh in.

    Luvinlife58. / Mandy- Nicely done.

AmyByExample/Amy – Nice job maintaining while on vacay. That’s no easy task.

    KasandraKristine/ Kasandra – Nice Loss!

Angie (amcjunkin) – Happy Birthday and W2G!

Audrine / Audrey- That’s a great goal. What works for me is putting it with a reminder on my blackberry calendar.

jgunn81 / Jeremy- No worries! I’m sure you’ll turn it around this week.

rainas25/Raina- Next week will likely see that water weight come back off. Just keep working at it.

amcnulty09 / Amanda- Good luck with 30 DS. Make sure to take measurements because you are going to lose inches!

    Mary/Mom2four- Nice job!

darzinger/Diana- W2G on sticking with your water goal.

Cuddlebug12/Pam- Good job staying on track while making room for some celebration!

NavyKnightAh13/Angela- Hope your son is feeling better! YAY for the 90%!

    thurberj/Jody- I say it’s a victory too!

grahamckas88 / Chantelle- Sometimes thanks just don’t work out but don’t worry, stay strong and next week will be better.

Jenniprr/ Jenn- If you haven’t weight trained before your muscles are likely retaining fluid and a little swollen from 30 DS
especially if you are doing it everyday. It comes off around day 15.

bcdpearce/Breanda- Well wishes for your dad and congrats on the -1 lbs.

Munny_P/ Mary- I hate the TOM bloat. I don’t get my “friend” any longer because of an IUD but I still bloat every 4 weeks like clockwork.

Ginaquinn2/Gina- Nice loss! I have in the past stayed around the same 10 lbs between 135 – 145 but I am consistently losing now, just small amounts at a time. I have to be very vigilant but at the same time not stress out too much.

Phoenix3050 / Megan- Way to go on measuring!

Dmolnaraz/Debi- Excited to see the measurements next week!

TryingAgainIn2012 / Cyndi- Saturdays are hard for me ALWAYS. The times I succeed are when I make a plan and stick with it. It also helps if I’m not travelling or socializing. But I have to have fun too!

kvonjohn/ Kristie- Maybe try to shake things up and zigzag your calories. Sounds like your body has become efficient.

    AmandaWarnerz1/Amanda- you can do it!

Because of the SIZE of our chart, please do not quote this post!!!

    That's right!
  • Ok, I think I need a new scale. I usually weigh twice everyday just to see fluctuations. Well, I got on on I was 301. That can't be right so I tried resetting it. I used a 10lb bag and the scale was right. I got back on 262...lol. Then the next one 272 then finally 311. I replaced the batteries so not sure why it is acting funny.
