other than the more usual tuna+crackers, sandwich, wrap etc..
I like to boil rice(either white or the yellow mexican type(brown should work fine too, I just don't care for it myself) , or make some couscous(plain, or the mediterranean curry flavor from near east) , and add eggs(boiled) and tuna(plain) to it.. also onions most of the time(chopped, and cooked with the rice/couscous OR raw) .. I add some parsley if using plain rice or couscous. of course this idea/recipe can be tweaked many ways to your tastes:)

These sound delicious can't wait to try some cause I love tuna, but have gotten bored with my regular tuna salad.

Tuna, mustard, lt mayo, chopped celery & celery seeds, cayenne pepper & chopped jalapeños (or pickles if you aren't into spicy).
Sometimes put it on crackers or bread.

-Add Non fat greek yogurt and cucumbers (season to taste)

-Or add light blue cheese dressing or light creamy Cesar dressing!

-Or add fat free crumbled feta (35 calories for 1/4 of a cup) and balsamic vinegar!

I like mine drained well and mashed with half of a small avocado, squeeze of lemon, salt, pepper, cumin, minced red onion, and minced jalapeno. Peel and cut a cucumber lengthwise and remove the seeds with a spoon. Pack tuna salad into the hollow. Super good!

I add lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, dill, peas, onion, salt and pepper. Sometimes I add a little greek yogut too (2% Fage plain is best)

I toast a piece of bread and eat it with my tuna. I know it's not good for you but I put just a little bit of ketchup on my tuna because I think without it, it's really dry. But I might try putting it in the skillet one day and try adding the cheese that sounds really yummy!!

OK... I know this is gonna sound gross... but it is really good!! Growing up Mom would mix a can of tuna with scrambled eggs and a little mustard and serve it on toast sometimes with, sometimes with out, cheese melted on top.... I love it!! :embarassed:

Today I mixed a can of tuna with a little bit of chopped red onion, chopped celery, diced baby dill pickles and mixed it all together with avocado instead of mayo.

I had seen a recipe somewhere awhile ago about the whole replacing mayo with avocado and it didn't sound very appetizing even though I do love avocado.

Moral of the story: it was delicious!

When I was little, we didn't have much money at all, at least once a week my mom would make White Gravy, dump in a few cans of drained tuna and serve it over toast. I can remember that it wasn't really that bad, Especially if you don't have money for anything else.
