Here are some things I always have on standby. What are your standby foods? Include brands where important!

1. Eggs - free range, organic, medium sized
2. Jacquet Toast - little Melba toast things good for soft boiled eggs
3. A piece of top quality lean smoked ham, for omelettes, or bulking up soups
4. A few M&S or Waitrose high protein ready meals
5. A Trek or Cliff bar in case I miss breakfast

    1) Eggs

    3) Popcorn (the 100 cal bags, they are great when I'm dying for a snack)
    4) Fruit (mostly apples, but I have tons of fruit to snack on in my house)
    5) Chicken Breast (I grill about 10lbs of chicken breast, and then freeze it. That way I can microwave it when I'm in a hurry and need something good to eat...same goes for easy lunches for my husbands work)

6, 7, 8. 9..... LOL Its so hard to stick to 5, I could probably list 20 things that I have in my house all the time.

    1.) Egg Whites
    2.) String Cheese - 2%
    3.) Nuts
    4.) Coffee
5.) Docli Fruita - the kind of melting chocolate you get in the fruit section so you can dip your fruit in and it hardens. They are these round flat wafers and for some reason when i have a chocolate craving, i can eat one of these and not want any more.
