Honestly it's not something I have thought of. I have always tried to put everyone else ahead of me. Going through a divorce and ALOT of changes right now so I think it is the perfect time for me to start thinking about me and my dreams! Thank you for bringing this topic up and I love reading everyone elses.
Now is the best time. Im sorry about your life situation but it will work out in the end. Buuuuuuuttt.....you still didnt mention a dream. What do you want to achieve? Whats your number one bucket list item?0 -
I've always wanted to be the voice of a cartoon character.
That sounds like fun. I for years have been able to Animal, from the Muppets and Bobbie, Howie Mandels cartoon guy. Ill bust him out when I want to crack up my wife after a hard day.
What sort of character do you want to be?0 -

I'd like to be an animal in a Disney/Pixar or Dreamworks movie. Or I guess I could be a person, I'm sure that would be fun too. I would just leave it to the professionals to fit my voice to the right character. I would want to do kids shows - no adult cartoons.0 -
My dream is to win the lottery!!!!0
-
My dream is to not be embarrassed trying to get on a ride with my kids at an amusement park.
I don't want to shop at Frickin' Lane Bryant EVER AGAIN.
I would like to shop at a REGULAR store.0 -
My dream has to be something I think is a long shot to ever happen?
Modelling. Print, of course, because I'm far too short for runway. I would LOVE to do print modelling.
But my biggest dreams are well within reach - get my bachelors, and my masters.0 -
To work from home and have time to do all the things I want to do with my kiddos0

I think of stuff everyday I want to accomplish. My biggest fear in life is not reaching my potential so I strive to never stop learning and trying. I "sat still" in my life for a few years and almost lost myself. I'll never let that happen again. I can thank my son and his unplanned appearance for turning my life around. Now I'm working on losing weight and getting healthy and also advancing in a new career I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!
I know how you feel. I sat still for a lot of years as well. Children are a huge motivator aren't they? I refuse to be "Fat Dad" and sit around while my kids play. Now that I have made so many changes I can play hard with them. They love it almost as much as I do.
What is your career? Its great that you love it because it is almost not like work when you wake up happy to go. Good for you!0 -
What a wonderful thread!
Some of my dreams are...
-To own a beautiful, full service salon
-Provide wigs and customized hair solutions for those dealing with hair loss
-Travel as much as I please without money getting in the way
-Continue to learn!
-Get down to my goal weight and MAINTAIN IT!
-Enjoy running (I'm getting there!)
Thats great. Being a business owner and being your own boss is amazing and the way to go. I dont think I will ever ENJOY running! But getting to your goal weight and maintaining it is perfect. What are you doing to get there?
I'm currently sticking to my calorie goals, on Week 4 of C25K, swimming almost daily (yay hot weather!), and I'm about to start the 30DS when I can get some weights. The weight has been coming off steadily, and I always feel great after a good workout. I have much more energy throughout the day too! I'm excited about my new lifestyle!
Do you like that program? I am not a runner but I have thought about it just because it is a challenge I havent taken on. Not sure when Ill get the time with all my Insanity workouts but It is potentially in the cards.
A dear friend of mine did ChaLEAN Extreme and lost 70 pounds. She started with soup cans for weights. Perhaps that an option for you. I know nothing about the 30 Day Shred, I am a Beachbody guy, but you can probably use bands? I picked up a set of three for like $15 at Walmart. Maybe for you?0 -

That makes sense. I have always wondered how much "Steve" from Blues Clues makes. And like the cast from Sesame Street that have been there for years and only do 5 shows a year?0 -
Mine is to be an actress. Maybe down a few pounds I can get up the courage to start auditioning again. I miss being me!!! And I know when that Me shows up again, she's gonna rock so hard...0

My dream is to eat anything I want and as much as I want without gaining weight... Ok you might mean a realistic dream haha... That dream is starting to come true, to wear a bikini and feel confident, to go back to school to do something in nutrition and fitness, to see my abs, to one day a long long time from now when my kids have kids, to still be a hot fit grandma lol.0

* Travel to every state in the US (about halfway there) and visit Austrailia. I would like to visit Niagra Falls, the Grand Canyon, and Death Valley
* Finish my degree
* Retire from the Air Force (@ age 39)
* Pursue another degree in Culinary Arts and maybe Computer Sciences as well
* Run a marathon
* Raise my son to the best of my ability with no regrets
There's more....but I should actually get back to work. Lol.0 -
My dream is to have some confidence
and live in Seattle - as far away from Ireland as I possibly can. And be a journalist Well, I already am, but a better one0 -
To be a mum. It sounds simple and not that a big a deal to most I'm sure but it's so much more than that. I can't have my own children so I hope to one day to give a few children a loving home, I can't imagine having a childless home lol.0

My dream is to feel like I'm worthy. To be confident. To feel successful. It's been a long time since I've felt any of those.0

So with you on these...especially a regular store. Even wearing a size 18 is almost impossible to find something "cute" at a regular store. That is a great dream0 -
My one thing is that I always wanted to go camping via horseback. I bought my first horse about 2 months ago....so maybe next summer, when I get all or most of this weight off, I will be able to take him and do that. He and I are both too out of shape to do it this year!0

I know what my dream is!0

I'm a dreamer! My dream is to be a world changer. I want to make a difference in other people's lives for the better. I want to let them know that there is more to life than just surviving. I want to show them that there is hope, a future, and a good life for them. I want to be a person people look up to and want to be like. I also want to let them all know that there IS a God, and he loves them so much.0

I loved reading through this thread!
My 'dream' is to finish university (i'm about to start my second year), pass the bar and become a barrister. Hopefully that'll happen0 -
After three years, two ankle surgeries, and months of rehab, I just want to run again.0

great thread! love everyones dreams!
someday I will travel...everywhere, around the world. I would love to take a year and backpack, camp, stay in hostels and visit every continent. would love to see argentina, chile, australia, india, thailand, laos, egypt, UK, ireland, etc. etc. etc. And ideally, since we are dreaming here I would like 2 trips- one with my two brothers and me (and my parents would come along and meet up with us in some places, but I don't think they would enjoy roughing it as much as I would like to do) and one with me and my 5 best girlfriends. I want to see natural wonders, ancient cities, beautiful trees, views, mountains, different people, hear different languages, eat different food, learn new religions and ways of thinking, feel free and be able to really feel small and insignificant in this big world (in a good way). And of course doing all of this with a healthy and fit beautiful body
thanks for letting me share0 -
