can I just mention how much I'm really really hating people who post recipes without basic calorie content at the end? For me it makes me ignore potentially good ideas I might embrace. sorry..

Banana Caramel
1/3 cup Oats
1/4 cup Light & Fit Caramel Delight
1/3 cup Unswt Coconut Milk
2 tbsp SF syrup
1 small banana, sliced
Few drops of vanilla extract
Cinnamon
Total Calories 271, Carbs 56, Fat 3, Protein 6, Sodium 100
Pina Colada (this one was my favorite!)
1/2 cup Oats
1/2 cup FF Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup Unswt Coconut Milk
1/2 tsp coconut extract
1 cup Pineapple, chopped
1 packet Truvia
Total Calories 314, Carbs 56, Fat 5, Protein 18, Sodium 92

Do you cook the oats first?
Do not cook - use old fashioned uncooked oats, chill overnight in the fridge, eat cold.

No worries - I have been eating some variation of these now for about a month of breakfasts. On days when I run out of ingredients, I go through a process of grieving until I right the situation with a trip to the grocery. Once you find an O.O. recipe that suits your taste and caloric needs, you'll never go back.
what is your favorite variation?
I've been upping my calories lately, so I try to make a recipe that brings me around 500 cals for breakfast. But you can easily edit this recipe to make any total between 300 - 500 cals.
I make the basic recipe adapted for triple chocolate, banana and peanut butter oats, coming in just under 480 calories and it is so good I think about making it for maybe two meals a day.
Ingreds added to mason jar in this order:
1/3 cup chocolate almond milk (40 cals)
1 T unsweetened cocoa (10 cals)
1/4 cup old fashioned uncooked oats (75 cals)
1/4 fat free fage plain greek yogurt (33 cals)
1 T chia seeds (60 cals)
1 T ground flax seed (30 cals)
2 tsp honey (30 cals)
6 T chocolate PB2 (135 cals - because I like PB2)
Shake, then add:
1/2 banana, sliced, then stirred in (45 cals)
Chill overnight, and seriously consider setting your alarm earlier than normal to enjoy earlier than normal.
I make this for my wife (283ish calories total):
Ingreds added to mason jar in this order:
1/3 cup unsweetened coconut/almond milk blend (15 cals)
1/4 cup old fashioned uncooked oats (75 cals)
1/4 fat free fage plain greek yogurt (33 cals)
1 T chia seeds (60 cals)
2 tsp maple syrup (30 cals)
Shake, then add:
2/3 cup blueberries, or perhaps a bit less (60 cals)
Stir, then add a few extra blueberries to top (10 cals)

So I decided to try these because I love, love, love oatmeal. I just did basic...oats, milk, yogurt and a little cinnamon. Oh my, they were gross. Maybe it was a texture thing, but I didn't like them at all. Maybe I need to try one of the recipes on here. I was so excited about them...my daughter wants to try them so I'm anxious to call her in a bit and see what she thought...0

I never thought to put oatmeal in my smoothies.I used to make the oat part (Oats, greek yogurt and almond milk) and then use it as the base of my smoothie each morning. Made it nice and thick and healthy!0

I love soaking oats overnight in apple juice, just enough to cover them. By morning they're all chilled, apple-y (it's a word), and fluffy. I throw in some blueberries, a spoon of greek yoghurt and pumpkin seeds and it's good to go. YUM.0

I've never had whey and haven't heard of them since Little Miss Muffet lolChocolate overnight oatmeal
You will need:
1/2 cup oats
1/2 unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
2 tbsp. unsweetened baking cocoa
1 tbsp. stevia
1/2 banana (sliced)
1 tbsp. unsweetened carob chips
Ok mix every thing but the chips and the banana chucks, cover with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge. In the morning uncover and put the chips and banana on top…….then enjoy

This is what I ate this morning (but made last night)
Vanilla Coconut Oats
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup oat bran
3/4 cup vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt
2 tbsp shredded coconut
Mix together, throw in fridge. Taste the awesomeness in the morning.0
