Bumped for one of my MFP friends who still thinks 1200 is the way to go.

I have eaten 1200 calories from the start and still do. Everyone is different.

Well, they asked me why I thought they could still lose weight eating more, and I thought this thread was a perfect example.

Yes, they can still lose at 1200 if they want, I'm just showing them there is another way.

You are happy on 1200, and that is great, I wasn't, and they aren't, but they are scared to up in case they gain.

We may all have different deficts, but as long as we are happy with our different methods, happy with our speed of loss, and it's sustainable, it's all good.

I totally agree, when I read your first post I thought you were trying to get her to up her calories because you felt maybe it was to low for her or something. :) I am a firm believer that everyone should do what works best for them and makes them happy. I honestly couldn't consume much more if I wanted to lol.

Great job... My back looks like your before photo, maybe I should give the 30 day shred another go? LOL I'm actually doing slim in 6 right now, hoping to lose the back fat.

Thanks Mama- Yeah I was so amazed at the difference....the weights incorporated in the 30 day shred with the pull backs or whatever she calls them I believe helped a lot. After Insanity I plan on continuing the 30 Day Shred just to maintain everything because it's basically just an easier version of Insanity.

this is a great sight! I currently have lost 22 lbs but have over 100 more to go after 7 weeks. The weight has been coming off pretty consistently for me at about 2 or three lbs a week. I am eating around 1200 to 1400 calories a day depending on how much exercise I am doing. I should have measured myself before i started because I know I have lost inches. I see it in my face and in my clothes but not huge changes around my middle yet.... she says grinning with anticipation.... lol

Thanks for all the great posts it has been really inspiring to keep working out and keep journaling. YEA Everyone!:flowerforyou:

Amazing progress everyone. I have been eating more for three weeks now going into my fourth week. The scale has been steady it seems but I am losing inches. I am going to jeep at it for another month to see if the scale will bulge. I love not feeling hungry all the time. I am 5'8, 29, and at 160 pounds. My net is my BMR + exercise calories.

This is an AMAZING thread! Really gives great motivation! WTG everyone. I just have one question! I noticed a lot of people after they work out eat their calories back, and for me I can't seem to eat that much in one day. Is that counterproductive to losing weight? I mean I eat about 1300-1400 a day and feel completely full. So, I was just wondering do you have to eat your calories back to lose weight?
