  • I just got mine in the mail today. I'm on vacation (at home) and have a lot of running around to do so i'm not sure when I will be able to follow the calendar....but I may try out a video or two this week. Very excited to start this!!
  • I'm actually pretty darned slow. But I believe running is defined as any forward movement that is not walking :). I do like to call myself a runner and not a jogger...It just sounds cooler! I do walk/run intervals. Most people would say I do walk/shuffle or walk/jog intervals. I don't care what they say...I run! :)
  • If I had to go over on one macronutrient it would be protein. I wouldn't let that number control what you have for dinner. Just make sure it is still healthy and you are good to go!

  • I did the EXACT same thing a couple years ago!!! Got frustrated and quit. DON'T QUIT!! If you did 4mph and it seemed a little slow and you did 5mph but it got a bit hard when doing longer times...then my suggestion is try 4.5 mph and start week 5 over. Start it from the beginning to build your mental confidence back up…

  • For 1.5 lbs your deficit should either average 750 calories a day or 5250 calorie deficit for a week. But the program will calculate all of this for you!
  • Use the Polar. That is what it is for! It is using your Heart Rate and information about yourself that you programed into it to determine how many calories YOU specifically are burning. The machines are using general information and not heart rates to determine an estimate for anybody that climbs on it.

  • If you count your exercise in your activity level then you DON'T eat your calories back. It would be factored into your daily calorie allotment.

  • Hi all! I just bought the dvd yesterday and did a half hearted L1D1 workout. Mainly wanted to see what it was all about. My shins are incredibly sore from doing a 5K over the weekend so I found the butt kicks and jump roping hard. Today I will go at it as a full on workout!
