  • I do find this VERY fascinating how many people sleep in separate rooms!!! Interesting!! Great topic! DH and I do not sleep in separate beds..just our room......there was a small window when I was VERY pregnant and apparently snored so loud...he would get zero sleep so he would come to bed and cuddle me to sleep and then…
  • Thanks so much everyone....this is what I needed. I am a big believer in quality calories so being higer in fat ect is fine by me as long as it's "natural"......back to the store I go...I don't know why I bother to wander outside the organic aisle ever...I just get suckered in! hahaha
  • Hahahahahahhaa......I love it....I wonder if you took a mixture coctail of bee pollen, raspberry ketones, coffee extract & HCG..mixed it with water and THEN used that to swallow you Allie if you would lose 4x the weight????
  • I think this should just be an automated response every time someone asks about a cleanse, pill or food suppliment of some sort...and then the thread should just automactically lock! hahahah..
  • My advice...what's the point of looking awesome if there is no one in your life to appreciate it. I think you can only stare and love your own "guns" so much before you get bored! hahaha...I think it's so sad people have to not hang out with friends so they can look good? I'm such a people person, I could never avoid…
  • I was a very healthy/active person before I got pregnant...after I had my daughter....I really had trouble motivating myself to get back to who I was. I used her as such an excuse and I used to say "why do I care if I'm thin, I'm only going to have another kid".....truth was I was just pissed at myself for not being…
  • My poor daughter....I thought the name "Sophie" was pretty standard.....since most of our friends/family are european...MOST of her birthday cards are "Dear Sofie"......or I get...Oh, Sophia? No.....SOPHIE.....If i'd wanted to name her Sophia I would have put an "A" at the end...not an "E"....Oh well....she'll have to…
  • Cardio.......like the person above said...you cannot spot reduce so the only way to lose the belly is to burn it off with cardio! Once you shed weight you can tone up and because there isn't fat covering the muscle you will see it......
  • Also, if someone brings a salad or something...just fill most of your plate with that...that way there's just no room for lot's of the other stuff!!!! hahahaha....and then walk away....that's the worst, don't "hover" because then you'll start to graze.
  • I replied to the other thread but I'll reply here. If I were you....I'd set it down straight to your hubby....Tell him "THIS is my goal, if I don't eat your cookies or your pasta, do not be insulted because I am giving you fair warning that those do not mesh with my journey so understand that by you choosing to cook/bake…
  • Also...we aren't actually all overweight...we just have lots of toxins stuck to our colon walls.....so if you just buy "insert ridiculous plant based item here" you can just lose that extra 5-25 lbs stuck there....there will be no need to lose weight.......
  • You would be my twin! I am also 5'9 and aiming for 155....I was 150 before I got pregnant so initially that was my goal but, honestly...Now I'm 158 and feeling so good...if I can hover around 155...I'm very happy with that......
  • Exercise!!! As a special treat I bought cinnabon home for my hubby....last night I wanted one SOOOO bad so I said ok, I'll do a quick 30 minute workout and enjoy my hard earned reward.....well...after my workout I was so tired and sore...I couldnt even imagine eating that stupid thing I had worked so hard for! hahahaha....
  • I have a hubby who doesn't work out and does not watch what he eats at all...he drinks pop every night for dinner and has no interest in losing weight........I am doing this for me...so his input has no effect on my outcome....He doesn't control my mouth or my drive. He is SUPER supportive of me and stopped buying junk and…
  • Hey Lady! Congrats on being pregnant! I know the feeling of using pregnancy as a pass...but you just have to remember that really, you ACTUALLY dont need ANY extra calories the first trimester, 300 in the 2nd and 450 in the 3rd.. You aren't eating for 2 so as long as you can curb that mentality, you'll do just fine. Being…
  • OK i wouldnt really categorize myself as "skinny" but definitely went from unhealthy to healthy...I recently lost 15 lbs that I found after I had my daughter and my #1 complaint is bye bye boobies.... :( especially going from these super full mom boobs to non existant lifeless ones....so so sad.....BUT...i clearly wasn't…
  • To the OP...wow...I don't know man, your life sounds like a lot of running around! hahaha...I was tired reading it. Maybe because I only have 1 child, but my life is so chill...We all get up, go to work, come home, have dinner together (me, my husband and daughter), then it's play time, bathtime and bedtime...and she's in…
  • I went to a RAW vegan restaurant once with a bunch of friends. One of the girls is vegetarian and was just curious about it so we all supported her and went....let's just say.......I don't know how strongly I can say....NOT FOR ME!!!! The food looked pretty.....but taste....uuggghhhhh....let's just say...when you order a…
  • After I got married I lost about 30 lbs...from 180 down to 150. I kept it off for almost 2 years because when I lost it, I didn't do anything other than portion control, the occasional treat and exercising. There was no fad diet and nothing "cut"...so it becaome my life and there was no way to change....I regained the…
  • For myself, I love the biggest loser workout for Xbox with Kinects. It corrects your form and tells you to "squat lower", move faster or whatnot...so it's PERFECT for me...it has so many different levels so you can work your way up slowly....
  • Everyone here has said exactly what I'm thinking....control the house, NO junk, no pop, no options.....and lead by example. Walk to the store, walk to get the paper ect ect...Another thing I'd like to throw in. Children really are most greatly influenced by their same sex parent. So, basically you can "talk" as much as you…
  • I do not follow a gluten free diet but my mother has for about 4 years now. She was advised by her dr because no matter how much weight she would lose she would always have a bloated tummy and has sever pains after eating. After 4 years, she's lost a small amount of weight, but it really has changed her life in other ways.…
  • Sadly I do not.....I come from a family where family is your #1 priority. So when I first met my in-laws, we were very very close because I kept pushing my BF(at the time) to do things with his family. I felt sorry for his mom because she seemed so unloved by her kids....so for 3 years I did everything in my power to do…
  • It didn't take you 2 weeks to put all the weight on, it's not going to come off in 2 weeks.....just stick with it...it's not a race to the finish...be healthy and work out for YOU, not to scale...if you do it for any other reason your going to fail once you reach your "goal".....
  • I have them on my sides and under my boobs from when they became very engorged during pregnancy....i said "There goes my career as a topless waitress"...hahahhaa....Honestly...I think we are SO much more critical of ourselves....I think my sister looks amazing in a bikini and she's had 3 kids, yet she refuses to wear one…
  • Amen about the conversation with my mother!!hahaha... I always grew up watching my mom criticize herself....complaining about her stomach being too big...if I came downstairs and asked my mom if I looked fat in something, she would say " If you think your fat, what does that make me?!?". My mother is a great woman who is…
  • To me...Love is like a pair of track pants. They were all exciting and new and tight at first, and then they kinda stretched out, and get comfy.......they may not be "new and fancy and exciting anymore"....but to me...they are the most comfortable, awesome thing in the world, and I look forward to going home to them every…
