  • I am 5 ' 3/4" tall and I really started my weightloss journey at 163 lbs I am really struggling (I loose so slowly I tend to see inches before weight) I see so many of you have similar start weights and quite a few of you are where I would like to be. How did you do it? My original weight goal is 130 but If I were to look…
  • Thank you I was getting so board.
  • Sounds good to me everyone needs a kick in the preverbal pants everyonce in a while just as much as they need a pick me up.
  • I love the rebel fitness workout, from http://nerdfitness.com/blog/rebel-fitness-guide/ I bought the ebook and I do the body weight brigade workout level one. Its a 6 week 3 times a week program and the ebook comes with a ton of other kinds of workouts. I lost 10 inches the first month I did It.
  • I am 4'11 and 3/4ths. I really would give anything to be just 3 inchs taller because the weight I am at now would look slim. But If I was taller then I would be average and no one wants to be average. I do a lot of strenth training becuase I found doing cardio wasn't helping me lose at all and when I picked up just plan…
  • Here is what I do. I make extras at dinner for the next days lunch. I do the single serving carrots with ranch as a snack target sells the Crunch pacs. Fresh fruit is always grab and go. Trader joe makes minamaly processed frozen chicken tenderloin that I throw some marinade or spices on and when I get home from work I…
  • I have tried a 3 different HRM. I started out with the polarFT7 and it worked well for almost a year and a half I used and abused it. I probley wore it everyday and sometimes 2 or 3 times for extra workouts. I was very accurate and I really liked it but it zeroed out on me a lot which was discouraging. I then tried the…
  • Count me in. My physical readiness test is the week of Halloween. So I really need to push myself. My 5% is 7.5 lbs Current weight: 148-146ish(I keep flucuating daily) Goal by Halloween: 141 (though I would like to be in the 130s)
  • I love this site and I hope it helps you as much as it is helping me. Good luck on your weight loss journey.
  • I eat Paleo/primal so I don't eat grains and I limit my processed foods so typical lunches/ snacks can be a mix and match from below. - Leftover meat from dinner (chicken/ beef) - Carrots with ranch (I hate carrots and can not eat them without a dip so yes its processed but oh well) - A piece of fruit - Cucumber slices -…
  • You can start doing wall push ups. Stand about an arms length away from the wall then do a push up. Eventually you will be able to do regular modified push ups. You could also try to put some towels under your knees for more cushion.
  • My ideal clothing size would be a size 6 pant and a medium top. I would really like to get down to 125 but I would be happy with the clothing size. I wear a size 10 pant and a large/extra large top, dress size is between 11 and 12 right now at 149.
  • My husband and I got engaged after dating for only 3 months and married 2 months later. Our 3 year anniversary is in just a few days. I am so glad I married him, We are very good together. I honestly think we got married to give our relationship a chance. I was given orders to the other side of the country. I ended up…
  • Sorry didn't mean to upset. I have to keep a certain weight and body fat percentage because I am in the military. Check to the water I managed to get in 10 glasses in already and its not even 4 pm yet. I did 70 close hand push ups. I also did my body weight training as a circuit so I got in My cardio! Kept my heart…
  • yeah I noticed I was doing that. Since I switched to eating paleo/ primal I have been eating so many more whole foods. I really like it and I feel so much better.
  • I love my Vibrams! I only wear them for lifting and walking around. I have knee injures and I am able to do squats and lunges now without pain if I wear them. I find that I am more stable when I wear them. My husband basically wears them for everything.
  • I'm in! I need to lose 3 to 7 lbs or 3 inches before Sept 1 before I transfer to a new job. My goal is to do 3 weight training sessions a week and bike and do pilates and maybe some walk/ running. I have to be at least 145 or 141 (depending on the height they measure me at ) or below 33% body fat by then to keep my job.
  • I have been there before. When ever I really start working out again I gain at least 3 to 5 lbs. But after a few weeks it does start to come off. I would sugest you ditching that second workout. They really don't help at least not for me all they did was make me stressed and sad.
  • Weights for sure! Since I started doing weight training 3 times a week I've lost 4 inches not all in my arms of course but all over my body. Plus I lost like 3 lbs. Just so you know i've only been weight training like this since July 4th. Hope it helps! hsquared87
  • Thank you for posting that. It was just what I needed today. I almost cried when I read it it was so perfect. Thank you again Hsquared87
  • Do them on an incline. Like keep your body like a full length but have your arms on the first step of stairs. Also try the One hundred push up challenge. There is nothing wrong with doing them on your knees. Do a full round of the one hundred push up challenge on the knees then do another round full length. You can also do…
  • http://www.shabbyapple.com/t-FitToFlatter.aspx The above clothing website has clothing by body type.
  • I found that the tops that have the bands on the bottom sit the nicest they tend to be a little flowy. I think they are called blouson tops. I even have a swim suit like this and it makes me feel so pretty.
  • I do strength training Mon, Wed, Fri. At the moment I am doing rebel fitness from the nerd fitness website. I do all body weight strength training. I try to do my 10 min solutions body band pilates 2 times a week. I always tell myself I'm only going to do 20 mins and end up doing the full 50 because I like it so much. I…
