Take a look at my profile and see if we may be a pal match. I have a tough love pal approach. :)

I would seek a second opinion. I lost 88 pounds so far doing it the old fashioned way, healthy eating and lots of exercise. My minimum is 1200 calories a day, and then I eat most of my exercise calories on top of that, which average 800-900 calories a day.

I'll be making it sans the meat. Thanks for posting this link!

Search the community for "Oatmeal Bake". I entered the recipe, and it is fantastic. I bake it ahead of time, them do a quick nuke to either eat at home, or dip in sugar free syrup in the car.

For snacks at work, I core an apple at home, put the pieces in a plastic bag, add about 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice, and sprinkle loads of cinnamon. It tastes wonderful as a cold, tangy, sweet snack.

Thank you!

Tried using almond milk with these pudding mixes...it will not set. Need to use cow's milk.

These look fantastic! I may try it with canned pure pumpkin, just for the ease, and use low sodium baking powder.

No, I wouldn't go under the knife. I am going to force myself to hike to the gym and start strength training which will not only tone, but benefit bones, heart, etc.

Bump for modified recipe. Thanks!

I gave it up right after the 2011 Holiday season, and vowed not to have any until I lose 100 pounds....just 16 pounds to go. It has likely helped a lot in losing weight. Go for it!

Ditto, I have always found them to be helpful.

I used mine for a couple months, then switched to a Polar FT7 Heart Rate Monitor. If you think you will get serious about cardio, then I would just get an HRM instead. My sits on a table, not being used. Pls don't message me about selling my Fitbit, as a friend has already laid claim to it. Thanks!

Have to agree. I try to keep a low friend count (around 30) so that I can be supportive. I gain so much from reading other folk's diaries....get great ideas for myself. You need to do what is best for you. I find that it helps keep me be accountable, having an open diary to my friends. Many friends have also thanked me…

42 miles so far for the month of September! I'm also in a running challenge to get in 50 miles of running, so I have to split my energy! Plus I'm swimming 30-40 minutes 5-6X a week, getting ready for my first triathlon.
