Type in Paleo or Primal under the 'Groups' and there is a few groups where you can find support and have questions answered:)

Hi:) Under the "Groups" search for Paleo/Primal and there is a handful of groups. You can add me if you'd like, I'm currently doing a Whole30 though so not logging foods.

The coffee does sound awful, I know! And then I tried it, and fell in love:)
-
Me too! I thought it was just me. Anytime I snack on almonds I'm just sick to my stomach!
-
I think what the other poster meant was if you're primal you can have cheese, if you're paleo dairy is off limits. Although cheese slices, cheez whiz, and similar overly processed products would be the 'bad' ones.

Hey you can definitly add me, I'm currently not logging my food as I am doing the Whole30, but I am active on this site:)
-
Fairysoul: go to www.laylita.com, she has a fantastic recipe for carne asada
-
You should go to the Primal/Paleo Support group, there are a few of us starting the Whole 30 in Sept:)
-
I'm in too! I have less problems with food than with the whole working out thing. Maybe September will change that:)
-
It's hard , but I think its something you have to adjust too. I just finished reading "It Starts With Food" and they recommend not 'paleo-fying old favorites like breads, pizza, pasta ect. in order to really break our reliance on these types of food and stop the cravings. And while I've made meatza a couple of times, I…

Yes please! What the hell is ketosis and how do you know if you're in it??? Edit: Nevermind I just looked at kerrytews website.

I am! I started in August and made it half way through, went on holidays and kinda bombed. Nothing crazy but definitly not Whole30. I've been fairly good since but again, not strict Whole30. So I wll officially be re-starting Sept 4 as well. Are we friends yet? :)

Hahaha you're post cracked me up! I'm looking at you spaghetti squash pasta! lol Anyways, I love cauliflower mash, with some butter, garlic, salt and pepper mashed in it's so good. I know the 'paleofying' things isn't a good way to change our eating habit. You're right that they can't replace mashed potatoes, and spaghetti…

Hi there:) Welcome to the group, you are so right about this group, it's nothing but amazing support! I had the carb-flu for almost 2 weeks, I was so tired and cranky all of the time. I found out afterwards that some fruit or sweet potato would've helped but I'm passed that now, and I rarely crave sugar and have no…

I'm with you SweetX and Beckktosch, nothing life changing yet! But I can feel the weight loss, and I can see the weight loss in my boyfriend too. Once I'm done the Whole30, I think I will continue to eat dairy, but I will definitly continue to avoid the grains. My stomach hurt so much when I fell off the wagon for a few…

Nice link Caribougal!

I just bought this toothpaste called Earth Paste, there are like 5 ingredients, it's brown, no weird stuff. It's pretty cool.
-
Wow, I'm going to look this up! Thanks!

This makes so much sense! A couple of weeks ago I got into some stinging nettle, arms rashed up and all that. The rash went away but then came back and so on for the last, well lets see, about 14 days! I'm on day 12 of the Whole30. Here I was blaming the stinging nettle...now I'm thinking it was just a coincidence!
-
I was going to mention that too! haha
-
Click on Groups and type in Paleo, there are a few groups out there. And they are awesome:)
-
hahaha, I was just thinking that while I was looking at all these pics!
-
aha! Silly me:) I had the carb flu hard for around 2 weeks, but I was still eating a few carbs here and there. When I completly went off carbs doing the Whole30, I was good.
-
Your diary is closed so no one will be able to tell if you're doing low carb right or wrong. Are you eating a lot of fruit still?
-
This sounds great! I've been making cauliflower mash but it never occurred to me to make a 'potatoe' salad. Awesome.
-
Beckkotsh: 19 more days, we can do it! haha
-
Totally! I spend way less now too.

Day 11, and doing great! I haven't had the carb flu as I had already cut all of that out (with some slip ups on weekends) so I'm very thankful for that. I feel good, My stomach hasn't hurt at all, usually I get a bit of an ache after meals, I don't know what I'm sensitive to though. I haven't weighed myself but I'm in a…

I love quinoa! Once I'm done my Whole30 I will eat quinoa again. It is still high in carbs though so it will be an occasional thing only.

Looks amazing!
