Congratulations! You look GREAT! Such a great motivator!

I am 5'4" right now my goal is around 130 but that will change as I get closer, it may be more or less. I am going to go on how I look/feel when I get there. I am not set on a specific number. I would like to be at my goal by Christmas.

Did you measure yourself? You may have lost inches but gained lbs. Other than that I agree with FTF2014 above track your food and exercise.

Water retention? TOM? It can be many things. It has happened to me the past few weeks some and then today I am "down" 1.7 lbs....No I did not loose that much overnight...but I did drink more water yesterday...in reality I am down .3 from my last lowest weight. Just keep watching and weighing what you eat and drink lots of…

I started tracking (and where it made sense) weighing all my food and eating back some but not all of my fitness calories. I wear my fitbit daily and that works great as most of my exercise is walking/jogging. How much do you want to loose over all? I would set your MFP goal to lose 1 or 1.5 libs a week depending on how…

Do what works best for you. I weigh in most days as it keeps me motivate (even with the gains an losses), some do it weekly, some monthly. There is no right answer so do what is best for you.
-
Yes, up until today (just started C25k) most of my exercise this winter was walking. What really matters is eating less than you burn. I started to lose in Oct 2013 and to date have lost a little over 40lbs.

Name: Lori Age: 35 Height : 5'4" Your current weight: 162 Your goal weight: ~130 by this fall so 20 lbs by this summer would be great. Reasons why you want to lose weight: Feel and look better. Reasons why you don't want to stay the weight you are now: Still not at goal, but have lost a little over 40 lbs so far.

This! I have lost over 40 lbs and I still drink a glass of wine 2-3 nights a week and go out with friends, etc. Its just all about moderation. I always ask for water with my drink when I am out so that it lasts longer and other than rare occasions I only have 1 or 2 drinks when out and plan for the in my daily calories. It…

What do you consider not too much? I love my Fitbit but that may be more than you want to spend.
-
Very rarely. Really only for occasions/events. I had this one as we had a happy hour with one of our clients this week for work. Prior to that it had been a while, probably when my sister was up visiting in early February.
-
How long has it been since you switched your goals? It takes me a week or so after increasing calories to start seeing a loss again.

Honey Nut Cheerios. But I do love Smart Pop, that is a standard at my house.
-
I spent the Holiday's traveling. The day after I got back from vacation I got back on track. I did pretty good on vacation as well but didn't track everything (less than 1 lb gain after spending a week at an all inclusive resort, I consider pretty good).

Do what works for you. I weigh in most days but to do that you can't let fluctuations in weight get to you. There is no one right way.
-
I agree with this. It depends on the person but for me as well its been about 15 lbs a size. I am down 2 sizes so far. Its getting expensive, but that is a good problem to have. I need to clean out my closet as I have 3 sizes in there and its getting confusing.

As stated about weight loss isn't liner. If I knew how I would post my graph. Its mostly downward but every few weeks it ticks up and then drops down really quickly. Its a normal part of weight loss. Keep it up and the weight will start melting off again.
-
Great post! Thanks for writing it.
-
Not for me. I would rather savor one good glass of wine vs more watered down wine. I enjoy quality over quantity. But that is a great idea if it works for you.

Try bio oil. They may not go away completely but that helps them fade.

I am 5'4" my current goal is 130 but I may change that a little higher (135-140) or lower (can't imagine below 125) once I get close to see how I look/feel.
-
I would think most that say they don't eat back exercise calories are using the TDEE method which already counts in their average calories burned through exercise in their daily calorie goal. MFP does not do that it expects you to eat back at least a portion of those calories.

I started as a 38G I am currently (just got refitted last night) a 34E,so its possible but not to a B/C with the little you have left to lose. I lost in my chest first (unfortunately that is not the first area I gain in). I still have a ways to go but I hope I am done losing in that area and lose the rest in my stomach,…

I noticed clothes fitting looser long before I saw any difference. Even now, I don't see a huge difference other than my stomach and thighs are slightly smaller. I do wish I had taken pics right when I started as I think I would notice it more. Keep up the good work!

Usually only when I am on vacation or holiday's at home.
-
Do they give you the calories when the box is received, so you know how much you have eaten?
-
This is not a diet to me but a lifestyle change. I will never give up sweets (or wine) completely. if you meet your macros and have room in your daily calories i don't see why you can't have sweets everyday.
-
Yes to lose weight that is all you need to do. But yes there may be "smarter" ways to spend those calories when you consider health.
-
First thing every AM I am home. I have the Aria scale and track the trends on Trendweight.com. I expect up and downs...as long as the overall trend is down I am fine. If the upward trend lasts more than a day or so...I know I need to change something so weighing in daily helps me keep on track (so far at least)

I log everyday and don't let myself take a day off as I know it will become a week, a month, etc and the weight will start piling on.
