Reminds me of a song from the 50's - 'It's illegal, it's immoral or it makes you fat, it doesn't really matter what you're aiming at...If it's something you enjoy you can be certain that....It's illegal, it's immoral or it makes you fat'......EAT AND ENJOY>>>> it will be between you and your conscience.....:-)

Hi -welcome. The only tip I can give you, which I do and it works for me, is - work out your daily menu the day before you're going to eat it....That way you can juggle it to fit more in, or take excesses out.....good luck...:-}

Well done...in fact, very well done. Like you, I have trouble identifying with this new person I see in the mirror, and I have lost only 37lbs. I have to introduce my new self to me.....changes in diet, changes in exercising, changes, changes....but all good positive ones....even the new wardrobe is a 'changes' ...Keep…

If you're on a budget, what could be cheaper or more easily followed and satifying than MFP!!!!

If you're not sure, don't buy....I've bought tops etc. but am leaving jean etc. till I'm at my goal weight...mainly because when I do get a pair I want them to fit me, properly. Our body shapes can and do change quite markedly, especially around the bum/thigh area...good luck..:-}

To poach mine....I have a small pot/saucepan of water, just on the boil. Break the egg/eggs into a saucer or larger dish if necessary. Give the water a good swirl with a spoon to create a mini whirlpool then gently slip the eggs in the water. The spinning water helps keep the whites reasonably intact. A lot depends on how…

I keep my motivation up by looking back at the photo I had taken of me when I started....in my bra and pants!!!! Not a pretty sight....Now I can't believe, when I look at my latest one, 30lbs lighter, that this really is me!!!..Your own 'want' to lose weight should be enough motivation....good luck..:-}

Hi - porridge is a marvellous food! To make it taste, like what I used to call 'cardboard', I flavour mine with 1tsp of molasses to 1/2 cup of oats. This way you get extra iron as well. It is much more filling and healthier than any bread as there is no salt in oats. By using the molasses to add flavour, no added salt is…

The first thing I noticed is the amount of sodium you're taking...that will help to hold weight quicker than anything....plus you don't have many veges....have a look at your friend's diaries and take some ideas from theirs...good luck..:-}

There's nothing wrong with eating alone....If you feel comfortable eating alone, carry on. Good luck with your weight loss..:-}
