I have an adjustable (2.5-30lbs I believe) one sized for women that I use on occasion. Keep in mind that they are large and bulky - I don't use it all during the summer because it's too hot to wear a shirt big enough to keep the vest from rubbing while I do any activity. It is also HOT. And I mean HOOOOOOOOT to wear. Super…

It really is the little things. My husband is not always terribly romantic being the practical man that he is but he does on occasion surprise me with the little things. Like the day we were married I got a letter in the mail from him - addressed to my new married name - that he had written when he decided he wanted to…

Yeah, I've been chafed there. And I have no idea how to make it feel better. I tried some baby powder on mine and that helped a little but not a lot. As for the next time - what kind of panties were you wearing? I avoid cotton panties while sweating my hiney off for this reason.

bump to look at later

I'm not sure if there is a craiglist for AU or not but that is another option.

Gallon of water/milk is about 8lbs - you can curl those, press those, etc Cans of soup also work for this. Generally, if you can pick it up, you can use it for lifting Also, bodyweight exercises are great

Ha! You mean if someone made their boyfriend/husband fat? I did! I took away his soda (pepsi) and he replaced is sugary beverage with PIZZA at every meal. Gained 10-15lbs in about a month and had to buy new pants. He's now trying moderation with pepsi and pizza

This just cracks me up. A lot And I'm finally down in the boobies to a large B/small C. My largest was a DD. I lose VERY slow from the boobs. And if I put on a pound it goes right back in there.

Nikkijean - those RawThreads clothes are CUTE! Do you like them? Do they wick well? I'm a super-sweaty girl

Same here. I actually don't like bananas at all but was told to try them for GI issues while running. And for me, they are seriously MAGIC. I get energy, no GI distress and they're portable too - I've brought them with me on longer runs and on bike rides. I also use Cytomax electrolyte drink (fruit punch) because Gatorade…

I personally LOOOOOOOOOOVE Arizona and NEVER want to leave - especially not for the southeast (chiggers, anyone?) but I've been lucky enough to not find too many scorpions. Baby lizards, yes (they come up the laundry drain) and those big nasty palmetto bugs - all the time. The cats LOVE to play with the palmetto bugs.…

It's interesting to me because my most sedentary habit, aside from my cross-stitching while watching tv - is my reading. I am a voracious reader - usually on my days off I plow through 3 or 4 books in a day. I don't usually think of my reading as a bad habit - but I suppose it is sedentary when you get right down to it.
-
If I placed my tv time with exercise, I fear my heart would explode. I usually watch about 2 hours a day while I cross-stitch on my days off of work. On those days I am already working out 2+ hours each day. I don't really think adding another 2 hours of working out would work for me. And I'd get a lot less cross stitching…

You forgot to include PIZZA in your #2 - aside from that, I think that might be the best wish yet.

The lottery sounds like a popular choice! Now I have three NEW ones! 1.) Win the lottery - a big jackpot too! 2.) EVERY SINGLE pair of running capris from here: http://store.runningskirts.com/skirts/capri-skirts?limit=15 Yeah - 13 different pairs. Because EVERY girl needs 13 pair of pants to run in. 3.) Chocolate chip…

^this More than 3 years later, I still am slow enough that I barely break 30 minutes for a 5k. But I've run 6 half marathons and I'm training for a full. SLOW and steady!

I've always thought of myself as a keg or a barrel shape personally!
