Slim in 6
I'm going to start Slim in 6 today on top of my normal c25k program. I was wondering if anyone know if Slim in 6 would also be considered cardio or any part of it "strength training"?

Sedentary or Lightly Active
Which would you set the ticker at? I currently work from home, some days I do some heavy cleaning or repairs around the house, but most days I'm at my desk sitting. I exercise 3-4 days a week for 30-45 minutes doing c25k.

Week 5
I did W5D1 today. Like every other new run, it was a lot easier out on the road than on paper. And while I say I'm not looking forward to my run on Thursdays, mostly because of what W5D3 entails, I'm gonna go out and do it anyways. At this point I want Monday to come already so I can get it done and over with lol.

Today was suppose to be W5D2 but last night I noticed my calf looked a bit swollen but thought nothing of it, but today I've had to elevate it. I never thought I'd be sad missing a run day, I'm tempted to do it anyway but I know that'll just backfire on me down the road. Anyone have good recommendations to help quickly…

Weight Lifting
I want to start lifting weights next week, but I do not have access to a gym at this time. Can anyone suggest websites or their routine plan for a beginner. Also what size weights would you suggest? I own a pair of 3 and 5 lb weights.

I will be finishing c25k on 10/19.. and am strongly contemplating entering a 5k on the 27th. It's cross country and seems to be set in an apple orchard. HRM or User Error?
I've got the New Balance N4 (for women) HRM. I've noticed as a normal on my runs it reads my highest bpm is 240. I'm 99.9% sure I'd be dead if my bpm got that high. Anyone else have this problem? I'm wondering if perhaps the chest strap is not tight enough, or the HRM is faulty. Maybe it's time to trade it for a fitbit.

That doesn't need to be smaller!!
Noticed today my feet looking thinner. Because really... when one wants to lose weight/healthier living, the main thing they want thin is their feet lol. Also after measuring today, I figure by the time I've hit my goal weight I'm going to be flat-chested (kidding!!) Anyone else have this problem?

Am I doing something wrong?
I started doing the c25k 9/3/12, every day I've eaten all my calories (1290) but have not eaten any of them back, but still there is no loss on the scale. This is probably the first exercising I've done in awhile, and at first I was thinking I had muscle tears, but it's been almost two weeks since and nothing has changed.

30 Pounds by the Wayside
I've finally hit the 30 pound marker! I lost 22.5 pounds last year when I started MFP, and then fell off the wagon for about 6 months. Started again the first of January and I've already lost 7.5 pounds and 5.5 inches. Also do for new under-things and new pants!! GO ME!

Bad things about loosing weight
Anyone have any "bad things" that came about from loosing weight? 1. Always cold - I used to be the warm one! 2. The dogs jumping and bouncing off me - they actually hit bone now and it hurts! 4.5 Months Progress
Starting picture was taken in July when I joined a weight-loss club, but it never amounted to anything. Started my journey officially on January 1st, 2011 at the same weight (274). So far I have lost 32 lb.... my goal weight is to get around 145... so officially less than 100 pounds to go (97 to be exact).

30 Pounds Lost
Woooohooo!!! I'm so excited! I've finally stopped flip flopping on the scale (couple of bad weekends) and I have finally hit the 30 pound mark! Now to reward myself with a couple of new pairs of pants and some shirts!! I think it's about time for some progress pictures too... I'll take some and add them tonight!
