10 years difference
This picture on the left just popped up on my facebook timeline today and it was 10 years ago. I thought it was interesting to see the difference between then and now. I weighed probably somewhere in the 240+ish in this picture and was trending eventually to my max of 285lbs. I think in hindsight it really shows in my face…

285-190. warning i wrote too damn much.
i've been somewhat fit now for the past 3 years but i was reading success stories and i enjoy reading them and find them motivating so i thought i'd share my progress and maybe get a few mfp adds out of it, or hopefully help out someone that resembles where i started. When i started i weighed 285lbs and hadn't been in a…

Treadmill upstairs?
I'm having a treadmill being delivered tomorrow. I have a basement but i'd rather have it on the 2nd floor of my house. Do any of you have one on the 2nd floor? Does it get that noisy downstairs when someone is running?

Home treadmill or stair climber
I'm buying a house and i feel like i'd want a home treadmill (or stair climber), do any of you have one and have any recommendations as far as features or things to especially look for. thanks, and if it matters, lets go with the premise that i'm not overly concerned with price.

my progressive picks
i keep updating this image for my own sake, and i figured i'd just toss it on here too.

265 vs 200
Every once in a while i like to update recent pictures vs my past pictures to just to see the difference. Anyhow I originally got as high as 285, but this is 265 vs 200lbs just recently taken. Anyhow i thought i'd toss it on here as i like seeing success stories posted.

My weight entries from 285lbs to 192lbs
I exported my weighins from mfp and i thought maybe it'd be interesting for others to tangibly see how i progressed from 285 to 192. there are gaps in it, seemingly when i was static or failing (or i didn't even track in mfp until 2012), and even a period where i got down to 220 only to balloon back up to 265. so maybe…

My many picture progression from 285 to 200.
I try to take routine photos whenever i've lost a fair amount of weight or if a fair amount of time has passed. In this case, it's been a while since i've updated my progression and i routinely do it to keep myself focused on moving foward and i just thought i'd toss it on here too incase it movtivates anyone.

215lbs vs 215lbs
i think it's pretty difficult to project your goal weight, my current goal is to get a bit leaner and i've sort of bulked recently and i'm up to 215'ish (from a lightest at like 195) and a year ago i was 215 and i thought it was interesting to see the differences despite being the same weight.

i want friends that go all out
i have become somewhat inactive on here recently (still lifting and everything, just not on this site) and i think it's because i don't have enough people on my friends list that are going all out, i like when i see people lifting for a long time, running a long distance, doing alot of HIT, it kind of pumps me up and keeps…

how many continuous situps would be impressive?
i never ever do situps and my girlfriend whose just starting to get into lifting and such mentioned she was going to start doing situps (which i kinda am meh about situps as an ab routine, but anyhow)...anyhow she's starting at just doing a set of 25 and she said that was tough and wanted to build up from there and i…

Staring this 12 week program.
I feel really good about my diet and my knowledge as far as lifting goes and am really happy about my progress i've made..but i heard of this workout plan http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/kris-gethin-12-week-daily-trainer-intro.html and the diet and workout style are a bit different than how i train/eat that i think it…

I think planks are worthless, tell me why they arent
I just can't seem to get myself to want to do planks, i just don't see them being that great, despite their popularity. I'll admit i've never committed to them remotely for any time (and i'm considering doing it now, hence this post, just bc of my curiosity), but i just don't see the greatness in static exercise like that.…

This is my work out w\weights, reps, sets.
i was talking back and forth today w\one of my friends that works out and they asked me how i workout and waht i do, so i ended up sending them this incrediably long email that took forever to type so i thought i'd just paste it here and if it benefitted someone then great. I'm not proclaiming this to be any perfect…

Should i just overtrain my calves?
so i lift 7 days a week: day 1 chest/tris, day 2: legs/shoulders day 3: backbicep (abs every other day). Anyhow, i've always noticed that my calves never really feel tired the next day or after two days. This isn't from a lack of calf work either, genetically i just naturally have really really strong calves, so i've…

Tomorrow challenge
i'm kind of a junkie about watching the biggest loser, so anyhow it's on right now and earlier they said the challenge they were doing was 100 burpees in a row. So i decided i'm going to do it tomorrow just to see what it's like, i dont' know if i've ever tried more than 15 so i figure this will be pretty unenjoyable.…

Male waist size question.
So at the peak of my heaviest i was atleast a 40'' waist and weighed 285, and right now i weigh around 192-194 and a 31'' in waist. I still want to get to 185, maybe 180 and i was wondering if my waist would drop anymore than my current 31'' waist. So with that, i was wondering if there's anyone out there that is like 180…

Hurt my foot
So I hurt my foot n can't put any weight on it for the next 3 days or so. N it was a cool feeling bc I still hobbled on my crutches to my gym, hopped around n was able to do a full workout anyhow. I did 1 footed planks, leg lifts, bicycle kicks, bench press, skull crushers, 1 legged push-ups, 1 legged diamond push-ups,…

87 down.
first pic i weighed 285, size 40 waist, and now i'm 197, size 31 waist. I just moved so i've been a lil stagnant recently on my cardio n overall loss, but i'm settled in now and hoping to drop another 15 by halloween n it'd be neat to have lost 100 pounds, my goal is to be like 7 or 8% bodyfat ideally. and i'm curious how…

surreal
today i weighed myself and i'm 201.6, and this whole time my goal has been to be 195...and it's just a crazy feeling to think that i'm just like moments from weighing under 200 (I started at 285). hm, just felt like saying that, it feels like no other feeling.

Down almost 80, and about 15-20 to go. (lifting/diet/cardio)
I started at 6'2, 285, 35% body fat, currently i'm at 208, and 16.7% BF. I lift every day for about 90 minutes, i eat really well (oatmeal for breakfast, salad w\grilled chicken for lunch, protein shakes), and i do cardio once or twice a day...i'm really determined to get abs, so i'm far from content, but i do feel soo…

boddy fat %
