Negative calorie adjustment
Does anyone else use the negative calorie adjustment with their Fitbit or other fitness tracker? If so, do you still log your exercise as usual or do you just go by the adjustment?

Quad pain without explanation
I am trying to walk in the mornings for exercise. The past 2 1/2 days, though, my quads have been really sore. How is everyone today? I'm amazed! Absolutely amazed. I have not had any whole grains for 24 hours...and I don't feel like napping. I am awake, alert, not groggy...I wonder if it's a true correlation. I'll have to keep track of how I feel the rest of the week...but I could be onto something!

Snack before morning workouts?
I'm a morning runner because I have to work 2nd shift. I normally get to run as soon as I get out of bed. I can't seem to stomach my usual oatmeal or cereal before my run. Anyone have suggestions on what snacks I can/should eat just for a smidge of energy? I haven't started running long distances yet (in the beginning…
