I always hear that when you start a new diet and lose a bunch right off the bat that it is just water weight. Why would it be water weight? What causes you to lose so much water when you first start a diet?

Iced Green Tea
I love hot green tea and decided to venture into the world of cold green tea. Mmmmm. I just put 6 tea bags in 2 quarts of water and stuck it in the fridge for 3 hours. I added 2 packets of splenda (I normally don't do artificial sweetners) to add just a little sweetness. It's yummy!!!
