Office Friendly, EASY recipes for lunch?
I work 3rd shift at a call center and my coworkers and I are trying to lose weight. We already joined a gym (woo-hoo! First step) but need easy lunch ideas. I stress easy as most of these women are young moms, or working and going to school full time. We don’t have a kitchenette at the office, just a microwave and small…

Anybody want to help me come up with a side dish I can bring to Thanksgiving dinner? Why does the recipe input matcher not use the same database as other foods?
When inputting a recipe, I went so far as to scan each item using my phone and type in exactly (minus capitalisation) the name that showed up there into the recipe input on the computer. Yet over half the items did not match when the recipe was parsed! Why are the names different between the two input mechanisms? Recipees…

spaghetti squash
I'm looking for some ideas to eat spaghetti squash, I'm not looking for real recipes, (my idea of cooking is cutting up and baking a sweet potato). But something to make it more tasty, I was eating it with sweet and sour sauce on it, and it tasted good, but after 4 days of eating it, I'd had enough. I live alone, so a…

Garlic Green Tea - Calming, Energy Balancing, and Appetite-Suppressing
Who's stressed out?! If not now, then what about during the work week? I know I get very stressed out then and one of my favorite go-to's for killing cravings (mostly stress related--for instance, craving something sweet for a quick mood-lift however transient, lasting only minutes followed by an energy crash) is boiling…

Lightened Chicken Pot Pie-how many servings?
I'd like to try the Lightened Chicken Pot Pie recipe, but I don't see the number of servings in the recipe. Are there 4 slices to the pie? Six? Eight? I do see the number of calories in a slice, but not the number of slices (servings) in one pie.

Fruits and Yogurt
Not a big deal but instead of half a cup of yogurt and some fruits/granola...do half a cup of fruit and a tablespoon or two of vanilla yogurt. It's so stupid simple but omg it's so good that way. I prefer this over more yogurt over fruit. Just wanted to share my tiny discovery.

Alternative uses for the microwave?
I do a couple of non typical things in the microwave. I use it for blanching vegetables such as green beans in the pricked packet they are sold in and then rinse with hot water afterwards. I use the microwave to make creme caramel because life is too short for cooking anything au bain marie. I zap 10 minutes on half power,…

I just learned how to cook tofu that I actually like
For years, I've been avoiding tofu because every time I buy it to try, it has a texture I don't like. I've tried all kinds of tofu, I've pressed it, I've marinaded it, I've chopped it up small, but it's still always pretty repulsive. Then I saw a "handy hint" on a recipe site that said to coat tofu in cornstarch before…

Keto italian meatballs? With only beef?
Now I'm not much of a believer in the keto diet (I believe in tried and true, not the diet of the week) but as my calorie limit gets lower, I've discovered I may have a minor problem that maybe a keto-style recipe might solve (so I can lower the calories). My sister <3 's my spaghetti and meatballs. I mean loves them and…

I find it really hard to enjoy most vegetables and would be interested in any tasty tips regards to particular seasonings or prep methods.
