Day 5 ~ Grateful for my job today. Even though I get frustrated at times, I know being unemployed is more frustrating.

Day 8 Quite a bit of sneezing today. Although I didnt feel like getting out to work today I am happy I did. Just ready for some R & R. (It is almost Friday)

Day-9 I am happy I kept control rather than letting my frustration verbilize itself. I am happy to work, sometimes i just wish we had control over who we worked with. Best words ever uttered, "Smother negitivity with kindness." Happy Friday All!"

Day 11 someone told me the key to maintaining personal positivity is to first know one's own truth. What I have taken from this is, because the truth is not biased it is a wonderful tool for growth. Im ready to plant my garden.

Well done on quitting smoking for 30 years and also for overcoming depression - I know how hard it can be. Great challenge

Oh, @jeanmk56, that one above is so spot on. For me, the hardest thing in life is knowing which bridges to cross, to burn or to nuke. I have to change my attitude.

Day 1- The day started out horrible, but I've decided to focus on work and MFP today instead of my personal life and Facebook, which is making me feel a bit better.

90 - A friend reaching out and texting tonight really helped to lift my mood. Work has me down, just don't like it when one particular doctor is in the office and my workout wasn't what I wanted it to be. But I did work out!

Day 13 Still a bit under the weather and looking forward to recovery. In the mean time keeping my mind occupied with thoughts of a speedy recovery. I am actually happy I stopped and made the decision to take care of me for once. Learning to stop and recoginize that I need to be a priority for myself sometimes (an awesome feeling).

  • Jean, you are such an amazing, beautiful, strong woman! I am so fortunate to know you...I love this thread.

Day 1: I'm lucky to know Jeanmk56 in "real" life...and that my boy such walked by me & stopped to kiss my cheek

Day 14 I am going to challenge myself to a sit down meal in a resturante by myself. I get easily distracted with everyone elses needs and wants and have forgotten my own (especially my family and extended family). I am going to reconnect with myself again.
