I have now finally understood that OP has a body that works unlike any other, almost alien like. It burns less than it should, it refuses to let information in, and develops magical tumors. I recommend a psychiatrist visit.

I hope this thread keeps on going for days

I am sorry OP for not being supportive and making fun of you. Uncalled for. Please accept my apologies.
that pretty much covered all the bases….0 -

Ok I'm confused then. I really don't think I'm eating over 2077 kcals per day. End of. I know I'm right.-1

CharlieBeansmom wrote: »ok this is for bumblebee. your calorie goal seems to be 1630 calories a day. that is WITHOUT any exercise. If you go over that 1630 calories without exercise you are overeating, even if its only 300 calories you still are overeating, If you exercise and burn those 300 calories that doesnt mean you can eat those 300 calories back . If you are relying on food packaging for accurate calories, fat, etc 99% of the time the packaging is WRONG and will not be the same, those weights and calories are ESTIMATES,
which is why you should weigh your food all the time. I can take 10 apples and none of them will weigh the same no matter if they are considered one size.you are taking in way too much sodium not to mention drinking too much wine, beer, etc which can also cause weight gain because you are drinking some of your calories. just running all the time isnt going to get you results either you need to change up your workout routines from time to time, including lifting weights or body weight exercises to build some muscle.
the other posters told you what could be causing it and with all that sodium you can weigh as much as 10 lbs more on the scale because of water retention. and so on.you have gone over your calorie goal many times and that will cause weight gain if you do it repeatedly. you are supposed to stay at your calorie goal to stay the same weight or eat a little less to lose weight. you also are NOT getting enough protein in your diet.make your own tuna wraps and get more fruits, veggies and water in your diet as well. also the closer you are to a healthy weight the harder it is to lose weight and sometimes even maintain it. this is a lifestyle you have to follow the rest of your life if you want to see results and you have to do it correctly. Its not that hard to weigh food and log it.
YOU ARE WRONG!! MFP sets me a calorie amount of 1630, which would make me lose weight. This is NOT my maintenance amount of calories.mi can actually eat 2077 kcal per day to maintain my weight. If I go over my 1630 but still under my 2077 I should not gain weight. In effect, I should lose weight for every calorie I eat less than 2077. Please can someone confirm this so I don't feel like I'm going totally mad!!!
Yeah, people are just going to jump right on helping you any further.0 -

did we address if OP is using a food scale and weighing/logging/measuring everything?0 -

I'm gaining weight - no it can't possibly be because I'm eating in a surplus... there is no other possible explanation - it must be a tumour.
Maybe we should worry about all the other people who write they are gaining or plateauing and advise they all seek medical advice for tumours too.
No.
It's a surplus. You're eating too much. Either inaccurate logging of food intake, or over estimate of your calorie needs. Or both.
I don't agree
Doesn't matter. You're still wrong.

She hasn't really answered that.

maybe it is a reverse tape worm …I saw on the internet that they stay inside you and then come out of you at night and raid the fridge and then slide back into you and regurgitate said food back into the hosts stomach which makes them gain weight….

I think I got it!
Weight loss surgery!!! That must be it! But it has to be done by a certified wizard from a respectable wizardry school.
Coincidentally I am a wizard! I can remotely perform the surgery along with any and all tumor removal for $15,000. That's a 50% discount from my regular wizardry services charge.
You have 1 day to respond.0 -

i believe you. Either you are eating more than you think you are or burning less than you think. I haven't read through the whole thread (sorry), has anyone gone over your calculations with you? You may have to experiment a bit because they are approximations. If you have lost weight your calorie goal goes down.

That's a simple Reducto spell. I'll do it for $20 and a bag of jawbreakers.

Forgive me for this the meme, but I could help myself.

ok so anyway. I get what people said in response to my post(I learned something new ). but the poster is not getting anything anyone is telling her point blank. we still have not established if she weighs her food or not..I thought food wrappers were correct too at one time until I decided to start weighing things and boy was I surprised0

The Valencia sweet & salty peanuts from Costco is 1/4 cup (28g) for a serving. I measured out a 1/4 cup. It was over by nearly 10g. I was rather pissed as I put those extra tasty peanuts back, because I had been overeating them thinking I was being all damn diligent and junk.
Also, this applies...

After quick review of your diary I solved it! "Prunes" Intake = Output0

Seriously??? Over 5 lbs(what I see is the loss to get to the high end of your goal range)! I fluctuate up to 5 lbs in a days time. Its water fluctuations is my guess. Based on picture I'd think maybe its your bodies set point and won't budge. Honestly I'd work on produce intakes and less sodium.

Oh and to be perfectly honest I'd probably cut the wine out first. But that's me someone that doesn't much care for drinking.0

No. . . prunes always are 20 calories. I do not have many food items which are the exact same every time but the OP seems to have the perfect foods for this. If you do not weigh your food and you are not accurate you may find it takes longer to figure things out.0
