My doctor cleared me to run after two weeks off. I eased back into it with an easy 3.5 miles. I cut my original goal down from 75 miles and probably come up short on that. I want to sure my feet are completely healed before I start ramping up the mileage.
Welcome back!!! Starting easy is definitely a good idea!!0 -

I was so afraid you would say "I didn't do as good as I wanted". You did a sub 4 hours on your FIRST marathon and remind us my friend how long you have been running... a year? Puff up that chest and be so proud of yourself and your time. I think you did amazing! Now you can make yourself a lessons learned and improve for the next time. I give you for today!0 -

@larrewl: Congratulations on finishing your half marathon!
@Stoshew71: Kudos to you for running a marathon! I read your blog post and I can see why you might be a bit unhappy with the result, given the too-fast pace group and all - but seriously, don't take it to heart. You can now look back on this year and know that you ran a marathon! That alone would be something to be extremely proud of, and it was sub 4-hours on top.
