Sounds wonderful Marie! I have a wedding to go to in France at the end of August and would love to have a lot of my weight lost by then so a support group like this would keep me motivated! (also summer time! Time to wear a lot less clothes!)

Good morning, losers! Just stopping by to check in with you guys.
Today is gym day-personal training/Aquafit. I am looking foward to it. With the training, I am pushed to power through even though I am dripping in sweat and ready to quit!
I hope everyone has a wonderful, productive, mindful day!
Just for today, stay strong!

Good Morning! It is Wednesday already!
Connie - you are inspiring! Powering through life - no matter what lies before us! Have a great day at the gym. (*)
As for me today it is a full day at an offsite work meeting where they have asked me to speak and conduct an activity surrounding goals. Can you guess which of my goals I will reference? Should be fun - it is being held at the Texas Motor Speedway....vrooom!
Momma (Marie) how is the fitbit doing? I can see you are putting on steps each day so keep going! I only hit 3300 yesterday - I definitely need to step it up!
Have a wonderful Wednesday to all who have banded together for this ride! Share a Smile0 -

Another evening and another T25 video down. At some point I'll work up the courage to go back to the gym, I really enjoy do my strength training there. It's just so crowded all the time.
Marie, congrats on your new upcoming grandson. Springfield isn't far from me, enjoy your trip to the Ozarks!0 -
Hi all hope your all well.
Although I arrived home from my ski holiday last Saturday this is my first visit to the MFP site, I came home feeling really ill with a sinus infection and altitude sickness from spending to long at 11,000ft up because of a cable car break down, we were only suppose to be up there for 10 mins but spent 55mins on top of the mountain and although we felt fine at the time the effects hit me the next morning and made the journey home a very long and horrible experience.
Well I've got a lot of reading to do now to catch up on all your posts so will catch up with you all latter.

Oh gosh Marie and Barbie you're both so sweet! You guys have certainly motivated me to stick with it so I can continue to be the best I can be! I woke up at 6.30 this morning to get ready for my run and looked outside to see the whole place covered in ice! I decided it wasn't the best idea to go out in it. So to make up for it I'm going to spinning in my gym tonight! I may not be able to exercise outside bit that doesn't mean I can't exercise today at all! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow evening when I get to go to my first ballet class in 15 years!0

Hi, Marie!
When we see "st" after the weight, it means "stone". In the UK and a few other places, 1 "stone" is equal to 14 pounds. Just multiply to get pounds.0 -

My two week weigh in:
SW 184.2
CW 181.4
GW 164.2
This is so agonizingly slow compared to the swimsuit season dieting I did in my 20's. Does anyone else feel they are spending way more time shopping, preparing, cooking and cleaning up in the kitchen? Reading cookbooks, searching the internet for recipes and finding acceptable substitutes for traditional ingredients.

I don't get a lot of steps on my fit bit neither got over 4,000 for the first time yesterday so aiming for that again today. I'm in Northern Ontario where most days you don't want to be outside. But I'll just keep dancing around the house.

My birthday is on Easter! That would be the best birthday gift!0

Hello Marie,
It took me a while to get through all the posts but everyone is doing fabulous. The motivation and support is overwhelming. I hope everyone sticks with their plan.
Today I had lunch with a friend, but I often choose places that will not sabotage my eating plan. Today I ate at Panera Bread and had an Avocado chicken cobb salad and coffee.
I never finish all of it because its too big.
I had my Yoga class today and wasn't going to stay for the meditation but there was a room full of people and no one moved so I ended up staying and it was very relaxing and I am glad I did.
Have a motivated day my friends.
LINDA from Northern, Ontario. I am from Southern Ontario and I now what you mean about the cold. We have a cottage near North Bay.
I hope it warms up for you guys.

Hey everyone! This week has been tough! I've been pretty strict on my diet and I've been craving suga! Not sugar but suga!! Suga is the fluffy deliciousness in cakes, cookies, and pies! You know the cookie bars when they melt in your mouth! Yeah... That's suga! smiles. Nevertheless.. I don't like how suga looks on my thighs... so I shall carry on! I'm looking forward to seeing what this strict week does for my body and my scale numbers. I definitely can tell a difference in my clothes and jeans. LOL Even my underwear! No more rolling under my belly! sorry TMI! We're half way through this week and let's finish off strong!!!0

Sparkle , where do you live that it gets so icy?
Caresshudson, the best way to get beyond all the sugar cravings is to stay away from it completely.....the craving will lessen.
(*) today is our anniversary so we went out for Chinese food for lunch......brought half of it home and had he rest for supper....walked 19,000 steps, went to line dance class in the morning, and rode the exercise bike for over an hour in the afternoon.
Barbie0 -
Happy Anniversary Barbie! I hope it was lots of fun!
I live in Ireland! Most of the time here it's not especially icy but sometimes we can get ice and even snow in the winter if we get the back end of the polar vortex. This morning we actually had a red weather wind warning across the country so I decided to be safe and not go running in the morning. Last night I went to a very intense spin session anyway and I have my first adult ballet class tonight so still lots of ways to fit exercise in without being blown away!
Last weigh in: 159lbs (8/1)
Current Weight: 157lbs (15/1)
I wasn't great with the eating last week. My partner and I go to a gaming group on Thursdays and Fridays and they often get take away, which was very hard to say no to last week. With the joy lost some sort of loss I'm more motivated today that I wont be getting expensive take out, instead I brought some food with me that I made last night! Here's hoping it pays off next week
Happy Thursday everyone!!0
