    So for the record, I ended up about 1600 calories over my TDEE for last week, was 2 pounds up after Christmas, and back to my pre-Christmas weight as of this morning (actually half a pound less, so pretty much my low weight of the last few months).

    Moral of the story - no need to worry about a couple days of overeating and I'm really glad I enjoyed it (even if the day after sucked, haha).

    Heh- winner winner chicken dinner.

    Scale at the gym usually puts me in the high 160's- I jumped on yesterday at 165.5.

    so yep- same results here for me- no real gain.

    I did finish the week of Dec 22-28 at about 15,000 total calories, about 3,000 over my net goal. I'm still up a couple of pounds today, but my holiday celebrations and excessive eating continued through Sunday so it could still be water weight. I have a couple of events this week too - a dinner out tonight and Saturday, and a big New Years Day bday party for my FIL. I expect things will be back to normal by the week of Jan 12th.

    Yep. Gained two between Thursday and Saturday, lost 4.8 since! But I think a lot of that also has to do with going lax on my workouts last week as well.

    Dammit! I stayed pretty much the same. Must. Try. Harder. There's always next year.
