What would I have done differently? my water heater broke so I pretty much waited all day for the gas company to come and install a new water heater. Went over calories about 200-300.
What is today's personal goals? track, eat well, check in, and the elliptical

Mood today? better than it has been
My hips are killing me. When I'm on the elliptical I'm not in any pain whatsoever but when I'm sitting or sleeping - OH my... I think I'll take some ibuprofen ;-)

Mood today? hopeful - it's been a very rough week, my dad (who is being treated with radiation and chemo for throat cancer) is in the hospital with pneumonia - very scary, but is slowly improving ... so hopefully will continue to get better.

Mood today? Hope to have a better week. I got most of my continuing education out of the way. My mothers health issues delayed my starting on this earlier. Alot of my recent work issues have been addressed so things should settle down. The two things last week that were positive is that I did some strength training in the afternoon on Wednesday when I do a small interval run in the morning and we went to Aquafit on thursday as well as our usual Tuesday and Saturday. Yesterday I didn't get any exercise but did classes on line instead.

My friend from high school emailed me asking if I would be interested in doing a Save the Bay swim. I'm a decent swimmer but not a fan of the ocean, bays, rivers, and so on... You have to swim 2 miles in 60 mins to qualify. I think I'm going to step out of my comfort zone and try to qualify (hence the swim yesterday). I have time to get that time down and increase it to two miles. Funny thing - at the end of the mile I pictures myself in the bay sinking to the bottom because I was tired...LOL The swim is in July.

Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...)? tried the recipe for banana bread granola bar from MFP's hello healthy blog... i substituted the dates with almonds and mixed berries (cranberry, blueberry & cherry). couldn't use the ground flax due to daughter not finding it at Wal- Mart. next time i'll try to add the flax. here's the link to the recipe if you'd like to try it too... http://blog.myfitnesspal.com/banana-bread-granola-bars/ it was delicious... well worth trying.
