Was at a birthday party last night where they ordered them (and a cookie cake). I didn't expect anything great but WOW they were incredible! They came warm and goey fresh out of the oven. I had trouble deciding on a flavor which is why this also goes in the "if it didn't have calories" thread because I wanted to try them all plus the entire cookie cake. I ended up splitting a snickerdoodle and reeses peanut butter cup with my friend. 10/10 for both they were delicious. I loved that the reeses peanut butter had warm goey peanut butter chips and huge chunks of reeses cups baked into it and on top! The snickerdoodle was warm and had the perfect amount of cinnamon. I wanted to try them ALL! They also make smores, double chocolate, sugar cookie, mint chocolate, plain peanut butter, m&M, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin etc.
The cookie cake was PHENOMENAL! Way better than Mrs. Fields or any cookie cake I've had in the past. I loved that it was delivered warm.
I ate way too many calories in cookies last night LOL.
Oh, gods... I just looked it up, there's one near me... 😬Oh THANK GOD(!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I'm out of their delivery range.
To fully appreciate Insomnia and get the full experience you need to go there at 2 AM and order the cookies fresh and sit at the counter with a bottle of chocolate milk. They make the cookies up front so the place always smells SO GOOD! (think ice cream shops that make their own waffle cones). Yum!
Why are you evil?
I mean, I often think that but sometimes it needs to be asked.

*kitten* you.
I say it out of love and sugar and god, I love cookies.5 -
Great. I officially want one of those cookies I'll take a regular chocolate chip warm out of the oven, please2
-
Mountain Dew Zero (haven't had regular Mt. Dew since high school). It's definitely not as horrid as diet mt. dew but it's not as carbonated as the reg soda so it tastes quite syrupy.2

Old is on right new on left. The old was so much more light and flaky and EXACTLY a butterfinger. (these aren’t as much now) The newer ones are more dense and 10 more calories for the bigger ones. The coconut is less toasted and not as fine, flaky and throughout the bar. Not happy they changed...JUST LIKE BUTTERFINGER.
Going to buy up all the old recipe ones while I can find them. I was so happy I thought I finally found a replacement.
You can make a pretty close copy of butterfingers at home with candy corn and peanut butter. The recipe is 1 pound candy corn
1 18 ounce jar crunchy peanut butter
.5 package chocolate chips
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
Microwave the candy corn for 30 seconds on high. Stir and repeat until smooth and JUST melted.
Stir in the peanut butter until well blended. Press into a parchment paper (baking paper) lined 9X13 pan.
Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes. Melt the chocolate chips and the shortening, then spread over the
candy. Allow chocolate to set before cutting. You can also cut before you put on the chocolate and dip to cover then allow to set.6 -

Doughnut flavored ice cream shaped like doughnuts. Just supposed to taste like the classic doughnut flavors (not like actual doughnuts), boston creme, strawberry frosted, and I think the last one is some sort of triple chocolate. If I can find them when they fully release in March, then I will be buying each flavor.5 -

...... OMG the pics....yesssssss. I've been craving cookies straight for days now. I think I just need to save up some calories for a few days and buy myself a 6 pack . What I LOVED was how the chunks of chocolate were so big and since they are warm they are nice and melted and soft.
Saw this, probably won't buy but would try if they give out samples.
I am a sucker for anything funfeti flavored.
Interested to try the vegan one.
Some stuff I saw on impulsive buy that looks interesting.4 -

They’re mostly in college towns since the business was started by a student and caters primarily to students. My college town had a very similar local business.1 -
At Walmart I found the Most Stuf Oreos (coming back for a limited time), the new Cheetos Popcorn, & finally the Fruit Loop Pop-Tarts. I also bought the Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Pop Tarts.
I'll have to keep a look out for the new Ben & Jerry's flavor & the Toll House Funfetti cookie dough.
Has anyone tried this?

I'm a fan of Diet Mountain Dew & Pepsi Zero Sugar & just tried the Mountain Dew Zero Sugar (found it at Walmart) & find it tastes like Sprite. I'm not usually a Sprite/7-Up fan, but I'll suck it up & finish the rest of the pack I bought.1 -

The pink and blue starburst flavors are a major hit at my house. Haven't seen the Cherry but really want to find that0 -

I really want to try the strawberry one. The only flavor starburst I like!
So I tried the Himalayan sea salt n vinegar chips and they were VERY underwhelming. They were not even pink and looked like regular chips. They did not have a nice coating of salt n vinegar like I like. They just tasted like plain chips with not enough salt and a mild vinegar flavor. 0/10 would not buy again.

Umpqua is an Oregon company. I don't know how far it's distributed. But I bought this last night. Holy yum!
Pumpkin pie flavored ice cream with marshmallow swirls and pie crust pieces.

Himalayan sea salt is pinkish in bulk from trace minerals, but a small amount scattered over potato chips or popcorn - no, it won't ever look pink. I like Lesser Evil popcorn made with coconut oil and Himalayan sea salt, but salt is pretty much just salt to me. I like the coconut oil.
The oil is the important thing if you want something like that to taste good. May not matter so much for heavily flavored foods. But for plain chips or popcorn or nuts or seeds or peanuts, I religiously avoid any that use canola oil, soybean oil, or cottonseed oil. Every other oil I've tried tastes good for such items: corn, peanut, safflower, sunflower, olive, coconut, avocado, almond, etc. So I try any new or reformulated item that is not made with the Evil Three.
But if canola, soybean, or cottonseed oil is even a possibility (those or/and lists in the ingredients) - nope, won't waste my money and taste buds on them. Good chips and nuts always zip downward in quality and especially taste when a company switches to them. Don't know why they think cottonseed oil is appealing, but they put yucky canola oil into products today because it is both cheap and mistakenly hyped as "healthy".3 -

I was wondering when Halo Top was going to come out with something new.
Jelly Donut, Banana Cream Pie, & White Chocolaty Macadamia are the flavors I would try out of that bunch.0 -

I tried the Coke Zero energy drinks. They are a tad odd. Have the Coke Zero taste but mixed with a flavor from the typical plain energy drinks. Not quite sure if I like it though don’t hate it either. On the fence though cold is a little better than room temp.3

I know they changed the packaging this year so I maybe I never noticed this flavor before, but sweet fancy. New favorite.

This is definitely a Froot Loop Pop-Tart! I'm honestly impressed that Kellogg's nailed the flavor to a T, but with that said the flavor is almost way too potent (almost needs to be dunked into some milk like regular Froot Loops).2 -
