ETA: Although I'm not a fan of the new movie
That's because Michael Bay ruins everything.
Seconded0 -
I musn't have been allowed much TV or something because very few of these ring a bell for me. I think it was mostly PBS in our house, as the only real TV memories I have are of Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow and that kind of thing. And the original Degrassi reruns when I got a little older.
I had most of the Disney movies too, but yeah, I don't know much about any of these cartoons
I bet you watched Arthur the aardvark, too.
Most of these cartoons were Nickelodeon shows.0 -
I loved Rugrats & I was an adult when they came on TV. I nicknamed my son Dill Picklehead because he looked like baby Dill, had a huge head & peed just like they did in the movie.0

Does anyone remember Garbage Pail Kids?!
Loved it!
And for the younger gang, my kids were always watching:
CatDog
Rugrats
Hey Arnold
What was that dare thing where everybody always got covered in slime?
Lizzy McGuire
Even Stevens
Was Angelica just the worst cartoon human ever, or what?! Phil & Lil were my favorite, oh and Chucky. He was just so sweet. Didn't ever care too much for Tommy though.
Oh my gosh, are you talking about Double Dare or You Can't Say That On Television?! Either way, I loved both of those! Oh, and Legends Of The Hidden Temple, and Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego!
And Pee Wee's Playhouse. *Runs away in embarrassment.
Double Dare!!! That's what it was!
They also did that on Figure It Out!0 -

She meant the raw ones. I never bother boiling just-bought eggs. I pick them up a week in advance. They always peel super easily when they're "old."
I tried the vinegar thing this morning. It seemed to work really well.
Yay!! I am glad I could help. I'd hate to see your walls covered in boiled egg.
I'm not the egg thrower. I can't remember who that was. @peleroja or @ShibaEars ?
Oops! Confused...but I would hate to see anyone's walls covered in hard, or even worse, soft boiled eggs. It was @ShibaEars
Haha, I'd never throw anything in our kitchen, it's all shiny cabinets and stainless backsplash and cleaning them is bad enough without intentionally making it worse. I know we've discussed how much I hate stainless steel before but I HATE STAINLESS STEEL. And my stupid contemporary shiny cabinets.
I really am a huge grump lately, huh?0 -

I confess that I quite like the runny yolk and happily eat it that way. It does annoy me when I wanted to use it for something that requires hard boiled eggs rather than soft boiled, though.
I make six eggs at a time and typically only keep them for a week
Get the water to boiling, add your eggs to the water with a spoon and time them for four minutes. Guaranteed cooked whites and liquid yolk. That's how I like mine as well.
YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!
Calling it a runny yolk sounds gross to me.... It's like having a fried egg without the grease.0 -

I hate when my eggs don't peel right. What is the deal with that?? Some peel easily, and others peel in tiny pieces that take forever. I get irrationally annoyed when an egg doesn't peel easily.pofoster21 wrote: »marissafit06 wrote: »kelly_c_77 wrote: »Carlos_421 wrote: »pofoster21 wrote: »Carlos_421 wrote: »I have never:

Well I can join you in all these except Sesame Street. I loved SS. I loved Mr. Snuffalufagus. (SP?).
He was my favorite too!
I tried online dating
Watched Glee one time
Never had a bowl haircut or a fauxhawk
I have never
Watched The Real Housewives of Anywhere or Keeping up with Anyone
I've never watched the Real Housewives or Keeping up with whoever but I do think both have been on in the cardio room at the gym (I don't think that counts since I really wasn't watching even if I'd had control of it).
I've also never watched:
any "Swap" shows
How I met your mother
Game of Thrones
99% of everything else on TV
I've seen Keeping up with.. a few times.
No to all the others listed.
I do like reality tv though.. a little too much. And that is a confession...
I've confessed that before in here too, I know! I love terrible TV. It's all TLC and cooking competitions and Animal Planet at my house, all the time, and I have no shame.
My favorite was paradise island (very old).
Oh I remember that well. And the love boat. And Magnum PI. Etc.
Or should that be Fantasy Island???
Ah, that is why that sounded funny! Yes, that was Fantasy Island. With Tattoo. I think that was his name?
You are correct!!!

Confession: I didn't have cable growing up, so I didn't know about many of the shows you're talking about. If they weren't on the four stations we got, I never saw them. ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. They added FOX when I was about 10 or 12 and we were SO excited (even though my mom forbid us from watching The Simpsons , which I now forbid Payton to watch... )0
-
I confess that I still like watching cartoons and although a lot of new ones suck, I think "Sanjay & Craig" is hilarious.

It's funny when that happens. Like, watching reruns of Three's Company. I can't believe I was allowed to watch that as a kid. There are other shows that I can't think of...0 -
Arthur, Hey Arnold!, Ninja Turtles, the original Power Rangers!, Darkwing Duck, Animals of Farthing Wood, Ahh Real Monsters! (this might have been an Australian one), CatDog, Angry Beavers, Captain Planet...those were the days!
Oh yeah, and Sailor Moon. When I was little I wanted to be Sailor Jupiter, but when I got a bit older I preferred Sailor Mercury. As a kid I was always baffled why they only did some of the planets and why there wasn't a Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. It took me until I was an adult to find out that there was more than two series and in the third series those sailor scouts did appear! (AND PLUTO IS A PLANET DARN IT!)0 -

That is a LOT of wine! no judgment, but cutting one bottle out would make a big difference.
