I confess that I am totally judging the person who left a plate and a coffee mug in the bathroom at my office. And I don't even feel bad for judging them.

While I agree eating and activities one does in a bathroom are related, believe that they are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

@MoHousdon I'll take two old-fashioned and a bear claw! :yum:

By the way everyone, D&D went great! I really got along with the group and was able to make an adventure that everyone liked :) I have a week to plan the next game and I'm definitely looking forward to it!

Someone left these pumpkin pie almonds in the break room. Holy moly, they're delicious! I hope someone eats the rest of the bag quickly!

It should be easier to keep to my eating goals now. I think I have eaten all that was extra in the house by now. Good news, my calorie counts are coming down each day. I should hit recommended intake numbers by the weekend.

    Good going!

    Thanks everyone!

@Oberon21 I usually stick to the high fantasy genre and like making puzzle-type adventures. In the case of yesterday's game, the three players (a paladin, druid, and ranger, respectively) had to discover the cause of a mysterious illness that had afflicted the city of Bairn's Hollow. Using teamwork and deductive reasoning, they had to find the source of the disease and discover a clever way to eliminate the threat.

My group isn't very good at teamwork yet, so they managed to make a powerful enemy and are currently the hosts of an alien plant lol They saved the town and stopped the disease from spreading, though :)

D&D is the best! I haven't found a new group to play with yet but I intend to soon!

Let's have a little fun today with a poll question.

    Which would you choose:

    A. A pill that you could take and be shredded INSTANTLY for a day but you must continue your normal dietary intake.

    OR

    B. have a pill that allowed you to eat AS MUCH AS YOU WANT for a day and maintain your current weight.

    Give me your votes!

    A. I'd take the pill just before Vegas!

Ooh, that reminds me. I think I've got hubby talked into Belize next spring (2018), for our 20th anniversary. The whale sharks migrate through in late spring and you can book scuba trips to swim with them!

Color me jealous. Belize is the one place my husband wants to go to!

A but what is the point of only being shredded for a day?

    Bikini on vacation!

    Boom!

It would have never worked on our household. they just would have gone on line.

I never minded being grounded. I just went to my room and read. :)

My mother never grounded us (I'm one of 4) because she viewed it as punishing herself!

That's what I think when my son gets in trouble. Do I really want to punish myself like that?!? Sometimes it's necessary, and sometimes it's not worth it! ;)

My sister always says she picks her battles.

My sons had this crazy compitition on who had more money in the bank. They would put all their birthday money in their accounts and work for money. I didn't need to do time out. I levied fines for bad behavior and anything broken they paid for out of their own pocket. Their were careful to follow rules and if they did get out of line they would see my face and correct themselves.
To this day they have a respectful relationship to money.

    This was genius.

When my two younger brothers were small I used to babysit them. We'd play the 'who can change into their PJs, brush their teeth and get to bed fastest' game. Brushing too quickly led to disqualification. I don't think there was a prize other than beating your brother.

I plan on using that gem on Andrew when he's older. I'll race him myself if I have to.

I love being home in the middle of the afternoon when it's snowing out. Started watching Daddy's Home because although I hate Will Farrell I love Mark Wahlberg. I couldn't last. It was stupid. Switched to Captain America. :p

Snow is over here, but I am staying in today. The gym is open, but since I really can't grip anything with my right hand today I am taking a rest day. (weird to sprain your hand not know how you did it) currently, I am playing Phase 10 with Tamara and Son 3.

New year's resolutions: Has anyone noticed how the carparks are all empty at the front and full at the back. The Healthy Options part of the freezer is inaccessible for queues of people.

I give it until the end of the month!

I go to work before 7am. I can always get a close spot and I do because there are larger spots for my F250 there. :) then I take the six flights of stairs because I am not a Resolutionista.
