Confession:
My plans for this evening once the kiddos are in bed involve eating my baby's leftover chocolate birthday cake and knitting a bobble hat all while watching a bit of Strictly Come Dancing (dancing with the stars).
I am truly living a rock and roll existence.
Sounds awesome.0 -

Just don't tell him it was my idea.3 -
Since I have to work on Thursday I went to Weis & bought a container of Talenti's Pumpkin Pie Gelato. I am going to eat all of it & probably eat the rest of my 1800 calories in stuffing. Maybe I'll squeeze a protein bar in there haha.6

So, the powers that remain after the merger are stupid. They made a decision to downgrade two of our trauma centers to level 3 and leave the other as level 1. Originally, they were going to not have them at level 3, but someone in another state complained and so this was the compromise they came up with. Okay, fine, but they did not consult the local governments who are currently served by a level 1 and a level 2 trauma center before they announced the change. It the fan on Monday at the county commission meeting and now the county commission is states of TN and VA to review the decision.2

I asked him last night if maybe we could go Friday. He said we could even go Thursday if they're open! He didn't even hesitate! It was awesome!7 -

Woo hoo!!! You're on a roll!2 -
I tried some halo top for the first time and was not impressed. The texture was rubbish. I think I'd rather just eat real ice cream less frequently. What a let down!2

In good news, I found half a Terry's chocolate orange I'd forgotten about! Life is all about simple pleasures!6

I'm so over Halo Top. I've had about 6 pints sitting in my freezer for weeks, and I keep reaching for the real ice cream.0 -
Hey, @kellyjellybellyjelly
Will WalMart take back my two big bags of romaine salad due to the recall? Or should I just throw them away?0 -

Haha!
I'm also going to add some cornish game hen to get some more protein in so I'm not a ravenous terror at work.0 -

I'm near the end of my love of Halo Top/Enlightened as well.
I'll still buy those brands on occasion if they release interesting flavors or I find them cheaper at Grocery Outlet, but lately I've been eating more Breyers since it's cheaper & tastes about the same. I also bought Turkey Hill & Weis Brand (similar to Turkey Hill) on sale.
I was surprised how much I liked this flavor considering it's frozen dairy dessert.0 -

Definitely. If you don't have your receipt that could be a bit tricky, but I have a feeling with the issues with the romaine lettuce you should be fine.
I remember we had a lot of people bringing back the Ritz/Goldfish (or a similar product) during that particular recall.0 -

I like the mint Halo Top. @spamarie Try Breyers, its thicker and less watery. If you like mint icecream, the mint one has a pretty strong flavour!0 -

I still care about and log calories on Thanksgiving - however, I will just go to last year's Thanksgiving that was logged and copy it forward to this Thanksgiving and not give it any additional thought3

Not a terrible plan.
We are having a thoroughly non-traditional meal tomorrow: homemade pizza and pies. We can be grateful without all the work a full turkey dinner entails.3 -

We're not having a traditional Thanksgiving at all. We're doing an intense bootcamp workout in the morning, then going to the movies in the afternoon. I'm looking forward to a very low key day. Even more than that, I'm looking forward to not being at work for 4 days in a row!
P.S.
You already know I'm wearing sweats to the movies!4 -
Same for yesterday.
Here's to day 3!1 -

You are truly thankful for these, and what is thanks giving for.0
