Whoops I saw Mel's comment afterwards. I shall stop reposting eggy pics. When I was pregnant with Ellie, I found those FB videos where it shows you how to cook something in quite a close up way made me want to puke. Didn't seem to matter if it was food I liked or not. Just the close up visual of food moving around was enough to set off the morning sickness. Glad I'm over that!
It's fine, Anne-Marie. I needed to not eat the stress. It worked. And I can scroll past the eggs because I know they are there.2 -
no judgement? ok I really dislike Christmas & always signed up to work. I don't like anything about it, the songs, the lights, etc. wish I could skip it & I don't buy gifts, but this year our grand kids picked adult names to get them a gift, so we have 2 gifts to buy, ugh. It's not a religious thing as I'm a christian, It just seems to be all about $ and gift giving. I am glad that the world celebrates it though. I'll be glad when it's over
It's funny how it goes. I'm a deep-seated atheist, yet I love Christmas. Well certain aspects of it. I totally understand resenting the commercialisation of it. I don't stress over it and I don't get into debt, that's no fun. For me it's about family and silly fun and something to look forward to when the weather is so miserable.
Plus I enjoy making things (when I have time) and the kids are just getting to that age where it's magical so I'm all in this year. I went big on homemade decorations this year. Our house is a taste free zone!
I still love Christmas too. I don't do much as there are no little kids and that makes all the difference. It's just me and my mom and her boyfriend. But I love the tree and the music and the old movies. I was so upset my mom had a little table top tree last year she relented and got me a real tree again this year. I love to look at the tree in the dark and listen to carols.5 -

I would love a Spam Christmas. I kind of have that in my house, but it's impossible to grocery shop without being assaulted by the person next to you. (Really, I was shoved aside at the milk last week. Y'all, they weren't out and I was also reaching for cream from the shelf above.)
While shopping I hate the people who treat the grocery store like they're the only one in the store. The people who feel like the store is a NASCAR race & fly out of aisles without even checking to see if someone is coming the opposite way irks me the most.
Yesterday I had a customer who sent money to someone & they lost the paper with the reference number & expected me to find out what the number was. He said he sent it Friday so I assumed he did it at our store since that would be the most logical thing & with that I could have had management go through the papers from that day. Nope he sent it from a completely different state & expected me to be able to look that up? I'm sorry I'm not a computer. I wouldn't be able to do anything since I wasn't at the original store that did the transaction.
People are so dumb1 -

Why don’t people shop like they are supposed to drive. Stay on the right except to pass - well unless you drive on the left legally... I HATE when people turn their buggies perpendicular to the freezers on the freezer aisles. How in the elf do you expect someone to get around you. Didn’t be a (insert derogatory term here) and move your elfing buggy!!!!
Secondly, can I tell you how many times I have been hit by people in the mobile carts? Seriously!!! If you can’t drive them, get someone to do your shopping for you.
Btw - this upsets me year round. Not just holidays. I swear, in my town, when you walk into Walmart your IQ drops a full 10 points. Sadly, some never recover. @kellyjellybellyjelly - idk how you do it!!!

Office Dog hard at work
Aww. Office dog I feel the same at work. My favorite service animal's one owner was in Saturday & I asked where she was. I went outside just to see one of my favorite customers. She's one of the only service animals we are allowed to pet since she's a big bull dog & her owners want to keep her friendly in case random kids come up & grab onto her. If you don't notice her at times she'll come up & paw you on the leg & sit there like hello will you pet me now.
I still have yet to see the customer who brings a duck that rides in a stroller. Apparently it's an emotional support animal. What's the strangest animal you have witnessed someone bringing into a store?
Nothing will beat the day two monkeys were in a carrying cage. Now maybe if someone rides an elephant in or has a kangaroo that will beat that.2 -

I'm excited this year since my mom & I went together with her Walmart Savings catcher (we both contributed receipts) & bought my nieces a Barbie Dream House. To see their reaction will be priceless in itself.
At first I was researching wooden dollhouses on Walmart.com made by Kid Craft but my mom said those can take six hours to put together & more or less need to be attached to a wall in case they would fall over onto the child. With the Dream House it apparently makes different noises & some parts fold into others.
I remember the doll house my dad made was one of my favorite presents growing up. My nieces still play with it to this day.
I think I spent about $40.00-$60.00 of non savings catcher money per kid.
I even bought my sister's future kid a present. This will be her last one.4 -

We've had people in the motorized carts knock over sidekicks full of makeup/displays & one customer I remember first ran into the soda cooler, then backed up & crashed into my register, & then hit something else.
The maddest I was at someone was the time someone parked way far out into the parking lot near the end. Then my manager noticed a motorized scooter way up there & had me go up & bring it back in. If that thing would have been dead I would have been ticked off because I would have had to lift it by the front & drag it the whole way inside.0 -

Yup!
My friend at work bought a My Life Dog vest & it fits her rat! Our one manager hates rodents & we keep messing with him saying that she'll bring her in.0 -
Okay, Y'all. There was coffee and old grounds in the pot again. It's not quite Plate in the Bathroom Girl level, but it's awfully lazy to be standing beside the sink and not rinse the coffee pot out when you turn off the pot. At least it wasn't burnt to the carafe this time.2

I need a tutorial on the new savings catcher. I have no idea how to enter my receipts anymore. I scan them but they don’t seem to be going to savings catcher0 -

They don't work unless you use the Walmart Pay app to pay. That's the only way you can do it anymore.1 -

I just got back from the dentist & I'm a little irritated.
Not the dentist, but the person cleaning my teeth asked if I ever had an eating disorder since I have some acid erosion around some of my teeth. Personally I've never been bulimic as far as throwing up (did have a few days where I tried to exercise to eliminate bad binges), other times I have had bouts with binge eating, & then the awful binge/restriction issue I had the first time I got into maintenance.
A better question would be to ask if I drink coffee (don't), soda, or eat acidic foods. Yes to soda. I think she asked that next?0 -

Sorry, Kelly. That is a strange question for a hygienist to ask a "not young adult" woman. I am not saying you are old, but you aren't in the age range generally afflicted by eating disorders anymore.
Maybe take it as a compliment that you do look that young and then lay off the soda.

When I lived in Paris there was a guy on the train I regularly caught with a rat on his shoulder. Clearly a fancy rat - not some sewer thing. The guy had long dreadlocks and the rat would disappear in and out of them, appearing on his other shoulder. I loved it! If I hadn't been a 20 year old woman alone in an unknown city, I would have said hi (mere eye contact on public transport is practically flirting in France!). I bet it creeped plenty of other commuters out though!!2 -
Love your long hair @MoHousdon . I'm growing mine long via sheer neglect but it's such a mess. Each time I had a kid, I had a major moult and now I have three separate and distinct hair lengths, but not in a good layered way! I'm getting especially annoyed with my Ellie hair, it's about 2-3 inches long and sticks out at all angles. I always look mad and windswept. I'm thinking of fully enjoying the hippie look and at least I can pretend my hair is happening on purpose!0

That's my usual look. However, the last 3 days, Rachael kindly curled it for me. I need a haircut desperately, but like you, I'm lazy and don't want to take the time, or spend the money, doing anything with it. I haven't had it cut since early March for Mike's dad's funeral. I haven't had it colored since May of last year!0 -
2 MORE PAGES, GUYS!!!

Hey, we are two pages from 3300!!!
Which is not what I chimed in to say. I chimed in to say that I need to get someone to give me Senegalese or Kinky Twists. My hair is out of control..2 -

My last hair cut was when I was 12 weeks pregnant with Ellie. She's 13 months old!! Once every 2-3 years is pretty standard for me. I like to grow it long, hack a load off and donate it to the little princess trust. They make wigs for children.2 -
