@Beka3695, I am glad you posted the egg picture. I am allergic to egg yolks and completely lost all desire to eat when. I saw them.
I was on the verge of eating my stress in cocoa covered almonds. (I swear I walked out my front door and into the Twilight Zone this morning.)

Not the reaction I was hoping for, but you are welcome :D

If this helps -- I was hoping for the yolk to be a little runnier. Next try!

They actually look lovely. It's just the sight of an egg yolk caused me to remember the smell and lose my appetite completely. You did me a HUGE favor. I mean it.

Spam, Lois, are the yolks supposed to be runny??

It is an egg (soft or hard boiled - your choice) wrapped in sausage, then bread crumbs and baked or fried.

I thought they were GREAT. My husband couldn't get over the ball of sausage on the plate.

I baked them at 350 for 30 minutes. Trick - shape 3 sausage pieces like a Y then fold to cover the egg. It works better if your hands are a little wet.

Was the egg raw? Did you just crack it onto the sausage?

    Office Dog hard at work

Aww. Office dog I feel the same at work. My favorite service animal's one owner was in Saturday & I asked where she was. I went outside just to see one of my favorite customers. She's one of the only service animals we are allowed to pet since she's a big bull dog & her owners want to keep her friendly in case random kids come up & grab onto her. If you don't notice her at times she'll come up & paw you on the leg & sit there like hello will you pet me now.

This was my first attempt at Scotch Eggs.
European folks - how do they compare?
Flavor was amazing. These were baked, not fried.

I would call that a great success! Well done! And I like the fact the yoke is still a little runny and not much bread crumbs

Shop bought aren’t runny but I would prefer them runny. I don’t like the texture of hard yokes.

Those look amazing! I don't even like Scotch eggs, although the toddler is partial. Scotch eggs should be baked, not fried. The great British bake off said so, so it MUST be true!

Whoops I saw Mel's comment afterwards. I shall stop reposting eggy pics. When I was pregnant with Ellie, I found those FB videos where it shows you how to cook something in quite a close up way made me want to puke. Didn't seem to matter if it was food I liked or not. Just the close up visual of food moving around was enough to set off the morning sickness. Glad I'm over that!

It's fine, Anne-Marie. I needed to not eat the stress. It worked. And I can scroll past the eggs because I know they are there. :)

no judgement? ok I really dislike Christmas & always signed up to work. I don't like anything about it, the songs, the lights, etc. wish I could skip it & I don't buy gifts, but this year our grand kids picked adult names to get them a gift, so we have 2 gifts to buy, ugh. It's not a religious thing as I'm a christian, It just seems to be all about $ and gift giving. I am glad that the world celebrates it though. I'll be glad when it's over

It's funny how it goes. I'm a deep-seated atheist, yet I love Christmas. Well certain aspects of it. I totally understand resenting the commercialisation of it. I don't stress over it and I don't get into debt, that's no fun. For me it's about family and silly fun and something to look forward to when the weather is so miserable.

Plus I enjoy making things (when I have time) and the kids are just getting to that age where it's magical so I'm all in this year. I went big on homemade decorations this year. Our house is a taste free zone!

I still love Christmas too. I don't do much as there are no little kids and that makes all the difference. It's just me and my mom and her boyfriend. But I love the tree and the music and the old movies. I was so upset my mom had a little table top tree last year she relented and got me a real tree again this year. I love to look at the tree in the dark and listen to carols.

This makes me love your mom.

I would love a Spam Christmas. I kind of have that in my house, but it's impossible to grocery shop without being assaulted by the person next to you. (Really, I was shoved aside at the milk last week. Y'all, they weren't out and I was also reaching for cream from the shelf above.)

While shopping I hate the people who treat the grocery store like they're the only one in the store. The people who feel like the store is a NASCAR race & fly out of aisles without even checking to see if someone is coming the opposite way irks me the most.

Yesterday I had a customer who sent money to someone & they lost the paper with the reference number & expected me to find out what the number was. He said he sent it Friday so I assumed he did it at our store since that would be the most logical thing & with that I could have had management go through the papers from that day. Nope he sent it from a completely different state & expected me to be able to look that up? I'm sorry I'm not a computer. I wouldn't be able to do anything since I wasn't at the original store that did the transaction.

    People are so dumb :unamused:

Why don’t people shop like they are supposed to drive. Stay on the right except to pass - well unless you drive on the left legally... I HATE when people turn their buggies perpendicular to the freezers on the freezer aisles. How in the elf do you expect someone to get around you. Didn’t be a (insert derogatory term here) and move your elfing buggy!!!!

Secondly, can I tell you how many times I have been hit by people in the mobile carts? Seriously!!! If you can’t drive them, get someone to do your shopping for you.

Btw - this upsets me year round. Not just holidays. I swear, in my town, when you walk into Walmart your IQ drops a full 10 points. Sadly, some never recover. @kellyjellybellyjelly - idk how you do it!!!

ETA: that was just a test to see if they changed the word "kitten" to "elf" or if that was @Beka3695 using that word. Haha! Cute.

I still have yet to see the customer who brings a duck that rides in a stroller. Apparently it's an emotional support animal. What's the strangest animal you have witnessed someone bringing into a store?

Nothing will beat the day two monkeys were in a carrying cage. Now maybe if someone rides an elephant in or has a kangaroo that will beat that.

I'm excited this year since my mom & I went together with her Walmart Savings catcher (we both contributed receipts) & bought my nieces a Barbie Dream House. To see their reaction will be priceless in itself.

At first I was researching wooden dollhouses on Walmart.com made by Kid Craft but my mom said those can take six hours to put together & more or less need to be attached to a wall in case they would fall over onto the child. With the Dream House it apparently makes different noises & some parts fold into others.

I remember the doll house my dad made was one of my favorite presents growing up. My nieces still play with it to this day.

I think I spent about $40.00-$60.00 of non savings catcher money per kid.

I even bought my sister's future kid a present. This will be her last one.

We've had people in the motorized carts knock over sidekicks full of makeup/displays & one customer I remember first ran into the soda cooler, then backed up & crashed into my register, & then hit something else.

The maddest I was at someone was the time someone parked way far out into the parking lot near the end. Then my manager noticed a motorized scooter way up there & had me go up & bring it back in. If that thing would have been dead I would have been ticked off because I would have had to lift it by the front & drag it the whole way inside.
