iv said this before but yet again i just hurt myself...
Getting ready for dates SUCKS. You know how you have to shave really well and do all sorts of shower gymnastics already to get properly smooth. Laying on the tub floor sucks cause when i lean back my newly discovered tail bone and spine grinds on the floor and kills. The newly discovered pits behind my knees ensure im very likely to cut myself. As well as the bone along my shin having no padding so thats more cuts, And my knobby knees!
Not even just legs, My armpits also suck.
Now one i havent mentioned on the same topic...
All the makeup i used to use now looks silly on me, I never had that big of a face but now that the weights mostly gone my eyes are suddenly huge O.O So where as before id do mainly eye makeup for pretty eyes ...smokey and bold etc. now id look alien. So i had to buy new makeup -.- Mainly focus on lips now and put nothing on my eyes besides maybe a light powder. NO ONE TOLD ME ID NEED NEW MAKEUP.
Sigh xD

- The feeling of raw power that comes when you choose a healthier alternative of a junk food you love
- Being able to go to bed without shifting 5 billion times because you're so stuffed you're uncomfortable
- Knowing how certain foods affects your body is just as important as deciding to eat the right foods
- Different things work for different people. For me, carbs are the most fulfilling, so going on a low-carb diet is a recipe for failure. For others, eating a high-protein diet is the most fulfilling; for me, if it doesn't have a lot of carbs, it won't keep me full for long (unless I eat a ridiculous amount, but by then it doesn't count)
- The feeling of moral superiority when you make a healthy choice whilst others around you aren't
- Losing weight is personal. Very personal. No two people lose weight in the exact same way (except maybe identical twins, but they don't count ). What works for one person may or may not work for you, so you really just have to try and test new things until you find one that works.
- Positivity will help you lose weight more than negativity. Beating yourself up for eating one too many cookies is not nearly as helpful as telling yourself that things will be okay because a single cookie won't make you gain 10 pounds overnight.
- You have to have patience. Anyone who has lost a significant amount of weight can vouch for this.
- Fast weight loss typically means temporary weight loss
- Not all weight gain is bad -- muscle weighs more than fat, so if you're packing on the muscle, you may look leaner at a higher weight15 -

Sideish note, The twins next door have begun their weight loss and ones boobs deflated the others *kitten* did. So for them anyway weight loss didnt happen the same way. Was super weird honestly they look so exactly alike...even now i have to look at their boobs to tell them apart even though weve lived side by side over a year..it makes them laugh LOL

No need for a disclaimer. All people truly are different, even twins, simply because no two people have identical lifestyles. I have an identical twin and she has an active job and is on her feet and lifting heavy things all day. Meanwhile, I sit behind a computer screen pushing buttons all day. Even if we did have the same jobs, we have different preferences in food and activities, so our diet and exercise routines are different.6 -
boxer briefs get to lose and have to get replaced...4

No one told me I would have to keep checking my too small clothes stack regularly.
I had favorite clothes from years ago saved up for when I can fit them again. Went throught them last night and I am too small for some of them
Lesson learned.29 -
It's No-Pants Friday. I grabbed the boxers I wear under my kilt (yeah, I know ) and they fell off. Didn't expect to have to improvise at oh-dark this morning....21

I'm in a pipe band. The struggle is real. I have to get my buckles moved so the whole thing doesn't end up around my ankles.

Looking for opportunities to run around the house in just a bra and shorts so small they really should just be underwear become alarmingly common.
Oh and oversize sweaters magically become oversize ... and you may or may not be wearing shorts underneath them (but always wear underwear. Please).16 -
- I've lost over 200 lbs/ more than 50% of my body weight, and nobody told me how long it would take my brain to catch up to the scale and the mirror. I still envision myself about 150 lbs heavier. I still refer to myself as a "fat girl."
- People seem a lot nicer/friendlier now, which makes me feel a bit skeptical. I realize this may be in reaction to me being happier with myself but it's still taking some getting used to.
- It is a lot harder to take a compliment. For some reason I cannot wrap my head around being called "skinny." It's just not true to me. I've ALWAYS been overweight to varying degrees and am still "obese" by the BMI scale. I don't see how someone with a BMI of 33 can be called "skinny" with a straight face.
- I didn't realize how hard it would be to give up some favorite items of clothing that are way, way too big. I miss you, turquoise dress.
- Nosy people. What makes you think it's ok to ask how much weight I've lost or what my goal is? (Yes, I realize I shared the weight loss # here but this is MFP, not the courthouse hallway!). I don't need your unsolicited diet tips, I've figured out what works for me, and quite well, thank you.
- I'm cold, all the time.
- Doctors visits are so much easier. It could be because my new doctor is awesome but I don't feel that every condition/ache/pain/issue is dismissed as a need to lose weight.
- New discoveries about my body. Some are positive, like hey, I have a nice waist, and I'm finding bones I never knew were under there. Some are negative, like the fact that the muscle on my arms looks great, but there's some saggy wings underneath, and my thighs are huge and lumpy. The most positive is having a lap for the dog and the baby, and crossing my legs every chance I get.
- My boobs are deflated and it's still hard to find a bra because of the cup size, not the band.34 -

I always wanted to know what they wear under there. Now I know:baggy boxers.
Edit: my smiley face looks like he's leering. I didn't mean it that way.8 -
spent 84$ on holey tight leggings and 3 crop tops (very slutty ones i have NO idea why...) 55$ on 2 bras (turns out after losing 85 pounds im still size 36 DD ? yet none of my bras before fit and their WAY to big now? but new ones fit amazing in a larger size xD?) and 25$ on new sports bras
No one told me id become an addict to shopping...
Or that id need new bras constantly...but in the same size? Cup stays the same but volume doesnt? i dont get it....12 -

Aw. Why not? I'm always up for a good leering.

How annoying it is that sorting out the washing takes so much longer as I have to check all of the labels to sort out which are my clothes and which are my teenage daughter's. I keep mixing up her and my clothes after washing them. It drives her insane
And my clothes drawers are looking distinctly empty as my smaller clothes take up less space. I think that a shopping trip is in order . . . .18 -
