I logged into to the forum for the first time ever just to say THANK YOU for this.
I lost 20 kgs and down came the ladies... Ever since, even when I put on 10 kgs, I still have the same downward facing lemon A-cups.
I can't begin to describe how insecure that is making me. It's one thing to be droopy but how can you be both small and droopy?
Anywho, thank you for this. I do needed to hear that someone else out there is having the same thoughts.19 -
Fortunately, I'm happy if I look good in my clothes and feel good when I'm going through daily life. So as long as a good bra will do the job, I'm okay.8

*laughs* oh yeah - I was into an American DD (which in today's measurements are probably something like an F or so? I don't know the new measurements; I wear playtex bras in sizes A, B, C, D, DD, and DDD) when I was in high school, so I don't know what its like to have them not hanging low.
But they've definitely flattened out big time since I started losing weight; I've gone from that DD down to a C and its really sad. I can't help but think of that song we used to sing as kids when I see them in the mirror: "do your boobs hang low, can you toss them to and fro....." I bet I could almost tie them in a knot.........
It doesn't make me self conscious, though, since I and my doctor are the only ones who see them and for my back's sake, I was very happy to see them go down in some size (big girls on the front really stress out the back after a while!), but I'd rather they not go down much any more; I'm quite happy with being a "C". the only issue I'm having is that the local stores think that people in a "C" cup only need band sizes up to about a 42. I can sometimes find a 44 if I dig, which thankfully, I'm into those 44's now; back in the winter when I needed a 46C, it was impossible to find them in stores at all.
I turned 40 this year and had to schedule my first mammogram in the next few months; I figure as flat as mine have gotten and as long as they are, mine should be pretty use for the technician to get into that machine!10 -
I’ve run into “uncomfortably big” in some of my clothes now. I have a night shirt that I wear a lot, and it’s become uncomfortable because it keeps bunching up under my back whenever I roll over in bed. It was a shirt that was looser even at my highest weight, so it’s hanging off me now.6

That it's hard, damn HARD22

Just realized I haven’t had heartburn in months! It just kind of went away.31

I noticed the other day that my seasonal grass pollen allergies are not as bad as recent years. I never considered it might be associated with weight management. I know I didn't always have them. I remember about the third bad year when I wondered why I always got this awful spring cold. Then I realized it wasn't a cold. I manage them with OTC meds that used to be prescription, and generally they work ok. But this year it just seems milder. Pollen counts are high, but my symptoms are low. This is especially good this year because people with symptoms might get the stinkeye from others.11

You know I was thinking the same thing that my allergies don't seem to be as intense this grass season. I wonder if its both losing weight and that I started taking my medicine at least a month before the grass started pollenating. I still am miserable on dry windy days though. But I found it quite nice to not feel like dying from allergies after my bike ride yesterdays when last year after a bike ride I would be sneezing and runny nose for a couple hours.
As to the droopy lemon breasts mentioned earlier, I also have noticed mine shrink to a droopy apple size. good thing is I never have bouncy pain when running!

You know, I noticed that too this year. I've only had allergy issues (not grass pollen, but weeds and trees) the previous two years, when I was at my heaviest. Quite severe too.
But this year I'm coping great with just a nasal spray, no pills at all. I'm hoping it's not coincidental, but only time will tell.6 -

I've heard it explained that weight loss leads to reduced inflammation, which reduces things like seasonal allergy symptoms. I don't know if that's really why it happens, but it is interesting to consider.9 -
Pros:
- Having 1 chin is cool
- Collarbones are cool
- The feeling of clothes being baggy vs tight. Hello favorite sweaters
- The feeling of compliments when people first notice the weight dropping
Cons:- The acne you get when you first start dropping weight and cortisol is releasing. Holy jeeze. My skin is still clearing up from that.
- Constantly cold

I have had acne issues too from the weight loss. It was like, I got a nice grace period where my acne cleared up because I worked on my skincare the same time I started losing weight, and then I hit about 50lbs lost and it just went all downhill.7 -

There's a very good chance that this will only be temporary.

I was putting it down to menopause. I just get the one massive sore pimple somewhere on my face where talking and eating will make it hurt, personally.3 -

To add to this fabulous less allergy suffering phenomenon, I've noticed I have yet to have a night where my sinuses plugged up during my sleep!! Usually I have to breathe through my mouth during grass pollen season.....This adds to the reduced inflammation theory

That's how mine were too. One or two massive, very painful ones, usually around my mouth and chin. I'd like to say it's menopause for me too, but unfortunately, I'm 32, lol. Hormones be messin'.7 -
If you have lost lots of weight, your belly looks all crinkly & bad! I'm no less likely to take my shirt off in public than before!
I want people to notice my weight loss more than they do or at least more than they mention. It looks like in about a month I will have lost 20% of my body weight. I hope it's more noticeable then.15 -

This is how mine is. I've done three rounds of accutane and every time I jump into weightloss boom cystic painful deep acne normally it isnt bad but the cortisol is something else. To be fair I have been very anxious/stressed due to some personal stuff so I am sure that hasnt helped either. It seems to be dying down now, but we will see next month! I am only 26, so this is just straight hormone disruption4 -

Mine took a while and some skincare intervention (differin) but it's been much better recently. I still sometimes get breakouts, but they are much less painful, which is the main thing I cared about.1 -

Everyone is different but I will say this - I used to have the same deep, painful cystic pimples around my mouth and jawline. Always 1-3 popping up around my period and hanging around for what seemed like forever. My dermatologist prescribed Spironolactone and within about 3 months I’m completely clear! This drug specifically helps with hormonal acne, which it sounds like you’re experiencing. Oh, and I use retinol and a benzoyl peroxide wash. Hope that’s helpful for you because I know how much those guys suck!7 -
I did not notice a reduction in allergies with weight loss. That sucks.
My boobs shrunk, but not enough to but inexpensive OTR bras. I'm still a 30E/32DDD. What I consider 'small' still isn't really absolutely small. So their droopy AND I still have to shell out large sums of money for support. I was as high as a 32N/34M. 30E is comparatively small.
Granted at least you can order 32DDD bras online from regular brands/stores. They just don't often have them in stock.4 -

My allergies got worse! Probably because I was spending more time exercising outside during high allergy season.
We are bra twins right now, haha. I'm on the cusp of a DD from weight loss, but I'm about to drop a band size again, so I'm guessing my final size is going to be a 30DDD/32DD. Options get really limited under a 32 band.3 -

Spiro worked for about a month back when I was younger. Still haven't found a solution, I can honestly say I've tried everything on the natural, regular, prescribed and laser market for acne. I was hoping the new test they have in Germany to pinpoint the exact type will eventually make it this way.

-Being able to fit into my old designer jeans and shirts is so satisfying
-Most of the junk food I used to eat I can no longer tolerate (M&M's are way too sweet)
-No fat around my knees! My jeans got loose in the knee area when I first lost a pant size
-By eating healthier my acne is basically gone
-I wear tank tops again and feel good in them
-My confidence is so much better, and I don't feel bad about myself anymore when a more petite woman walks by.

I get freaked when the scales drop dramatically overnight. I’m like “wtf”.15

Double H here. I don't think losing weight is gonna ever allow me to buy inexpensive bras.😂10 -

I haven’t heard of that test (I’m in America) but it sounds promising! I wish you luck in your search for results, I know how frustrating it can be4 -

You And me both. I've ended up most of a cup size bigger after all this. From a 38H to a 34H to a 34J to possibly 32J once I've lost these last 10lb or so.1
