Mary - we celebrate the day we met as well as the day we got married. Because we met through online dating we know the day we met and what time in a famous London pub - The Lamb and Flag. It took us 18 months to get married!
My top is a very clingy t- shirt material and only just fits. Even I have "love handles"!!!! I love the colour, a deep blue, and the fact that it covers my wrinkly arms. It has a knot under the bust so makes the most of what I don't have! :D

Now to read DH's first draft of the invitations. ;)

morning peeps- today is free food day (administrative professionals day) and my boss think of all of us as his admin assistant. thank goodness I I've already burned 900 calories and it's 8am and I got more to go at the end of the day.

damnit - did you say heather has naughty words in her book??? really??? right up my alley, how bad, my kind of bad??? i hope so.....

    whippet - you look maaa-vaaa-lussssss!! don't b trippin!!

can't remember who but someone posted that they have a son that has a cross bike and a road bike. on the one that you are going to be putting on a trainer, make sure that he lowers the seat for you if need be. seat should be at around your hip bone if you were standing next to it. on your down stroke your leg should NOT be extended all the way, there should be a slight bend.

Heather - you are so romantic! No wonder your book has dirty words and R rating! I googled the pub where you met in it looks beautiful. You lead a very interesting life! We're just like you. We celebrate the day we got together and we were married 14 month later on the same day. You top sounds lovely.

Pip - you are a work machine! You can afford to celebrate today and probably every day after!

    Happy Wednesday ! ! !

Meg - I crochet, or knit on a loom. I make whatever the yarn "tells" me to make. I rarely do anything that requires counting or following a pattern, since I do most of my work while DS is doing a sport. So, mittens, booties, hats, bottle cozies, hair scrunchies, anything simple.

TNToni - Congrats on the weights and water exercise. I always enjoyed the water, but just don't have the time these days. Water aerobics is fun.

Barbie - Thanks for sharing your story, and the words of wisdom and motivation.

Pip - Thanks also for your motivation. I try every day to do a little bit more than I think I can. // You could never tell in my office that Administrative Professionals Day is a Holiday. No flowers, no balloons, no acknowledgement at all. The looks on the faces of the patients when I smile and treat them with respect – that is my gift.

Sylvia – What a lovely smile in your picture. Thanks for sharing it with us. Beauty inside and out is worth flaunting. More (((hugs))) for your DS. And best of luck with the Casino situation. I have only seen Casinos in the middle of nowhere, or in a business district, not in a residential area. We have one a few miles away (seriously, probably 2-3 miles) in the Business District, and there is rarely a safety issue, or bad people wandering around.

Heather – Sorry about your hip pain. It makes for a long day when a person does not get enough sleep.

Chris from MA – I agree that getting rid of a toxic spouse should count in our weight loss totals. Nice job getting the bands at such a great price. I’m impressed with your plan; I know you will see those muscles soon.

Janet – Good work on your closet. It is fun to shop, replace clothes that is no longer appropriate for whatever reason, and have room to store it.

Cory – Please tell me about the Stevia plant. I think I recall seeing stevia as the main ingredient in a sweetener, but I don’t know anything more about it. Yay for the ability to visit the grandkids! What a treat, and something you deserve more often.

Joyce – lol about the Christmas Tree; mostly because I understand. It is the main reason that we don’t even put up a tree anymore. DS and DH don’t care, and no one ever wants to help put it away. Glad you found motivation.

Allison – More (((((hugs))))) for the job problems. It’s tough working with women, and when they get snarky, too ?!?!? I hope you hear soon about the Car Dealership. Enjoy your tea event. You have definitely earned that treat.

Tammi – I also get bored during exercise. It is 1 of the many reasons why I usually keep my sessions to 10 minutes. When I can’t, I try to have a TV program that interests me, or my tablet with Candy Crush, to occupy my mind.

Janet – what is it with some of these men being so un-social? Mine had his mid-life crisis about 3 years ago, and I could barely get him out of the house except for work and baseball. Even now that we have mostly repaired what he “broke”, he will only go places with me if it is something that he REALLY wants to do. Most of my social life is with my Dad instead. I feel like a teenager right now because he just texted me that he will go to the Jimmy Buffett concert if I win tickets. // Enjoy the time with your BFF’s, and Happy (early) Birthday ! ! !

Carol – Sorry about your PE and terrible Hospital experience. Poor DS and his fears. I’m glad he now understands.

Heather – Have a wonderful anniversary. It is beautiful and romantic that you celebrate your meeting date in addition to your wedding date. You are one lucky lady.

Katla – I envy you the Hummingbirds. I bought a feeder once, but the only thing that visited were the honey bees. I have a special place in my heart for hummingbirds, because I read a lovely story about hummingbirds to my sister shortly after my Mom passed, so sister spent every waking moment until her passing looking for Hummingbirds. Thanks for the peaceful, happy memory. If you have advise, I would try a hummingbird feeder again.

Mary – I hope you are able to make new friends in your environment soon. One time I started a crochet club, partly because I wanted to learn to crochet, and partly because I needed friends outside of work. I still e-mail and facebook with several of those women, even though I now live 4-5 hours away. In the meantime, I hope you can consider us on this thread your friends; that’s how I feel about all these wonderful ladies.

Selena – HUGS for your move. I hate moving with a passion. I hope it goes smoothly for you.

I hope everyone is able to make wise choices, and I hope everyone is able to make this a great day. And . . . Hugs for Everyone ! ! !

    High all,

Sylvia – I am so glad your son is better. I second what everyone is saying about getting legal things in place – especially important for those kids. I am so glad you posted your picture. I see a trim, healthy, happy, beautiful friend. Clean your glasses!

Selena – It sounds like you have a wonderful attitude about your up-coming move.

Cory – So glad you will get to see your family. How long will your son be based so far away?

Barbie – thanks for sharing your story. The doctors just wanted your “wisdom” pounds back on.

Chris in MA – The end of a relationship can be the start of something wonderful. It sounds like you took charge in just the right way.

Joyce – Thank you for sharing about your tree to encourage this procrastinator to get busy on things she needs to do. Maybe we could start a Procrastinators Anonymous here!

Alison –Good luck with the job search. Have fun at the Tea Room with your friend.

Carol – congrats on the great day. What a trying and scary experience you went through.

Janet – Enjoy those get togethers with your BFFs! Happy Birthday a little early.

WELCOME TO ALL OF THE NEW LADIES. YOU WILL LOVE THIS GROUP!

Off to call my friend who is home from Nova Scotia.

Hi my name is Colleen from Pennsylvania I am so happy Spring is here and I can be outside to walk. I find that is my easiest excercise to keep consistent every day. I have had a good day cleaning out my bedroom getting ready to paint.

p.s. I'm so glad today is our "early" day, because I won passes for DS to see Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, and I have to pick them up in person before their office closes. I will let him take a friend, then pay for myself and my Dad to sit at the opposite side of the theater (teenagers are strange).

Thanks everyone for the good words about my weight loss. I am taking it One Day at a Time. Down is better then up.

Meg--I do really well food wise at work most the time, it is when I get home that I just eat and eat and eat.

Toni--Glad you are doing well this Spring.

Sylvia--Love the picture and I think you look very good. Glad DS is doing better, prayers for the children. You take care of yourself. I agree with Heather I think you look good and love the collar bones. I know the first time I seen mine I thought WOW!. Good Luck on stopping the casino, I would not want close to my home either.

Heather--Thank you so much for the positive words. They mean so much to me. I am looking forward to reading your book.

Joyce--Congrates on getting the tree down. My DFIL before he passed he left his up in the front windown year round and just changed a few of the decorations to fit the season.

Allison--Prayers sent for the new job. I know how it is to be so stressed at work and nothing you can do about it. Hugs!! I do hope you enjoy your time to yourself.

tammi65--Welcome. This is a great place for support and fellowship. Come often and get to know us and we get to know you.

pipcd--Sounds like your boss is a keeper.

It has been a beautiful Spring day and looking forward to getting off work and taking the furbabies for a long walk or mow the yard. Last evening when I got home DH and I had to clean the yard. The d*** neighbors must of got the rest of their stuff moved out and decided to leave us a parting gifts. Dumped their bucket of cig ashes and trash over my side of the fence. Then left us beer cans and bottles to remember them by. I called the owners as they also left the back door wide open and basement window broke out. So glad to have them gone. Some young people just need to grow up. Bright side is they are gone. DS just called and wants us to go with them Saturday morning to look at a house they are thinking of buying. It is in the country about 10 miles from us and comes with 3 acres of land and several buildings. So looking forward to that.
    Blessings, Vicki GI NE

Mary & Katla - We are looking at moving maybe along the 1-15 corridor somewhere around Brigham City, UTor as far north as Idaho Falls, ID We think that will be more convenient for the traveling we will be doing in the next few months for the book. And Katla! Just hearing about your hummingbirds was so wonderful that I got an Earth Day present... saw our first one back (last year was early for them on Apr 26, so this is a real bonus!). Oh, how I adore the feisty, squeaky-toy sounds of these beautiful little sugar babies! Posting a pick of a few of them from last year.

Toni & Terri - Thank you for your kind thoughts about the move. It's not the joy of my life to pack, but a mandatory purging of unnecessary stuff is bound to be good for me.

Welcome Colleen! You are in the right place if you're looking for a lovely, supportive group of ladies. It's been so nice getting to know everyone. :)

Thursday here and Stan has gone fly fishing.
My food = 2048 as my training is 900 cals: Wii Gold's boxing, JJ's Bikini boot-camp II, then walk dog 2 miles this afternoon.
Need to read Tom's book again for macro-nutrients as one man says for fat loss: 40% protein, 20% carbs and 30-40% good fats. Need to sort it before May and 98 day challenge. Need to be on the ball this time.
Spent all day yesterday washing,4 loads, cleaning house and re-making bed.

Heather: I just bought the kindle edition of your book. Will start it this weekend while flying to New York.

Sylvia: Gorgeous smile, and those collar bones -- awesome!

Did a 3 mile walk this AM followed by nervous snacking all day. This happens when I feel stress over having to write scripts, presentations and all the other collateral needed for a conference next week. Just logged and fortunately still have room for a healthy dinner.

Stay well friends. We can do this.

1056287i3zmwzup2m.gif The dogs got a lot of attention from me along with all my regular chores. I read all the posts but won't be responding today. Thank you for all your kind words and your friendship. Welcome to our newest members---keep coming back.

PS....I don't think anyone likes how they look in their pictures. I rarely look in the mirror and as you can see, my profile picture is my dogs, not me.

I love the Hummingbird picture. I have a hummingbird feeder just like the one in the picture, I was not successful last year. Getting the birds to come around I will try again this Spring and summer to set it up. Helpful hints?, I had a good day today keeping busy (out of the kitchen) getting all of the clutter out of bedroom, getting ready to paint and get new carpeting. I feel the motivation of keeping on my plan to lose weight and excercise is helping me with my daily life. My goal for April and May is to look outside the house to volunteer somewhere once a week. I need to meet people and keep myself busy. Keeping track of food had kept me busy looking up different recipes and looking forward to meals that are low in calories I love when I have a good day. Back in school !!! Good repot card! Thanks all for listening have a good Thursday
