I wish I had seen this challenge at the first of the month. But I'm new to browsing around on MFP. I do great staying within my calorie goal until late evening and then nearly always throw myself over the top 200-300 calories. Like I give up and throw in the towel for another day .. If I'd just go to sleep instead!!! How has everyone's results been on the scales cutting out the late night snacks??
When I'm consist with it, I lose the weight!

Good morning on this Marvelous Monday!
We had a very strong wind storm come through last night. There was an actual hook on the radar so we are thinking more than just straight-line winds We are very fortunate that we only lost tree limbs. Lots of cleaning up for my guys today. We had limbs in our yard from a tree about 200 feet west.
All of the electricity poles south of us were broken for 3/4 mile. More down on south and east of us. Many farms are without electricity today. We are fortunate ours came back on before we went to bed.
So, that is my excuse for mindless eating last night.

I'm so sorry I've been AWOL. Had a busy Saturday with friends and Sunday I spent the day mowing lawn at my Dad's. Bad thing is I ran over my cell phone, and it's ruined. So, I'm patiently waiting till I can get a new one and switch carriers in October.

Well, so much for the streak
I broke my no sugar rule then it was down hill all the way
So here are the consequences for my behavior:
ME = 14/31
LNS = 7*
Streak = 0
goal = 22/31
I better get with it or I am not going to reach my goal.

Tired of self-sabotaging by munching after dinner? Upset that you double your in-calories at night? Then it's not just me . To get some help (or inspire us by your good example), please join us in this challenge.
You set what you feel is late night snacking. For example, if you have extra calories left for the day, you can have a snack if it's small. Others decide not to eat at a past a certain time. It's up to you.
We go by the formula:
Me: "number indicating how many evenings you stuck to it"
LNS: "number of times late night snacks won"
Example: Me: 2 - LNS: 0 indicates I won the first two nights.
Some people also add a * to the latest number. In the example, that would be
Me: 2 - LNS: 1*
if LNS won the 3rd night.
It's as simple as that. Or as complicated, as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile .
