It's been a bad week. Leftover Halloween candy is not a good thing! I think it's time to put it out of sight out of mind.
I'm not giving up though. I lost 3 lbs last week when I was a good girl. This week I gained half a pound. So it does work if I stick to it!0 -

Anyway, I'm late, but I desperately need this. I will allow myself 150-calorie-safety buffer built in to my log, in case, I really am starving or if I have to stay up late working on a project. Other than that, there is to be no eating after dinner. I start tonight.0 -

I always say when or if I think I'm hungry later. Drink 8oz of water end wait about 10 minutes. That's been helpful!!!!0

I think I have just been going through the motions. I have been prevaricating for weeks, and not losing weight. I am taking this on board pronto.
The one thing I don't do is blame others. I have a total personal responsibility attitude to life, but complacency has crept in over the last month. I am kicking it to the kerb, starting NOW!
Treats will be non-food except on rare occasions. I have written 6 positive affirmations, as I think that will work for me.
New Health Affirmations
make healthy choices about every bite I eat, every step I take
be prepared to make sacrifices rather than just talk about them
non-food treats only, except for out of the ordinary events
practice my new habits daily
kick complacency into touch
reaffirm my commitment to total personal responsibility for my health choices0 -

I'm cutting myself a little slack, I know I had a handful or two of popcorn after 8 pm while at the movies but I didn't eat any dinner. I didn't allow any "cushion" with my rules and after last night I realized I should have. So, I am changing my rule from not eating after 8 pm every night to allowing myself 2 free nights just in case I run into another scenario like last night.0 -
I had a good day today. Grateful.

Just thought I'd like join in one of the forums and say hi as I'm new here
My goals for November are:
1) No eating after 8PM
2) Not exceed my daily goals fat/calories on here
3) Not to consume more than 500kcal in snacks in one day
And sort of try the no late night snacking thing but I don't really do that anyway, except on Friday nights when I babysit my little brother and we'll buy like a big chocolate bar to share or something lol0 -
