What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

My weight loss has stalled since February and I want to get the ball rolling again. I was losing about 3 lbs a month, so for May my mini goal is to lose 3 lbs, which would bring me to 156lbs. That would be my lowest weight in years. Can't wait to see that number on the scale.
I'm going to try snacking on apples as I find them filling and drink lots of water. Get enough protein and fibre. This seemed to work for me before. My overall goal is to get to 140lbs.

A shocking update on my "breakfast reward"......self imposed.
My husband thought that was a great idea! So he treated me "early".....when I was at 138 lbs 2 weeks ago. I haven't weighed since but really should next week! Anywho...we went to a former favourite place and hadn't been in probably one and a half years. At this point, I'd like to say I'm not kidding when I say I have gradually completely changed my former eating habits.....resulting in my lost 50 pounds. My new way of eating is second nature.....yet I still remember my old ways too.
My current breakfast is oatmeal with fresh berries and two scrambled eggs and coffee. No toast. OR Yoghurt mixed with granola and one half of an english muffin. No jam. Sometimes an Avocado sliced up.
So based on my PREVIOUS eating habits....I ordered a cheese and ham omelet, hash browns 2 slices of toast and jam. The usual omelet plate. Ugh! It was too much food 😩 and I actually felt sick. The ham felt really heavy and I regretted not ordering the plain cheese omelet. I could only eat one "toast triangle" with jam and the hash browns even with ketchup literally tasted like starch. I eyed the fruit on my husband's plate....his food was healthier but he couldn't finish either. He gave me the rest of his fruit!! 😊 It wasn't the restaurant...it was absolutely our change in eating habits! In the last 2 weeks we are finding eggs to be heavy. Im looking into breakfast smoothies.
Over time cravings subside and healthier eating becomes the norm....I've found that to be true. I'd like to still try my breakfast rewards....I haven't had pancakes or waffles in maybe 2 years.....but I've learned I can no longer do hash browns, ham or more than one half piece of toast with jam. That's progress! Next to try.....bacon, pancakes or waffles! 😇 And a vegetarian omelet with fruit!

I felt compelled to post here....I hit a milestone today.
I came to MFP years ago when I weighed 210 pounds, desperate for something to help me before it was too late. It was the help I needed. I was able to get down to 160 pounds....looked and felt great!
But as time went on, I became complacent. My weight began to creep up. I came back to MFP again, but I wasn't ready. I came back again a few months later….I still wasn't ready. Finally when I hit 190 pounds and my clothes were too tight, it hit me and I came back to MFP....I was ready.
It was September 12th of last year when I restarted. Today I got on the scale and weighed 169.8....20 pounds gone! It's been slow, but that's how it should be done. My A1c is down, too (I am a type 2 diabetic). And what's just as satisfying is people are beginning to notice.
I am not done. The last 10 pounds took awhile, and I have at least 10 more to go. I would like to take off 10 more after that, but we'll see when I get into the 150's. In the meantime, I will come here every day, watch what I eat and continue my journey to a better me. My mini goal is being able to eventually cut back or even eliminate insulin from my life. Time will tell.

Met last minigoal of 145, when I hit 144.8 today. Next minigoal 142.5
And today when I clicked on the BMI section of weight in Fitbit, it gave me a green dot and said, 24.9 "Ideal". High end of Ideal weight and BMI to be sure, but I went from obese to overweight to "ideal" so I am thrilled. 67.2 pounds lost.

Thank you SO much! ❤️

Get into a size 16 everywhere, and get below 100kg. Walk 30,000 steps in one day.

Thank you. So pretty!

@anxietyfairy Wow. I sometimes get in the mid 20K range, but 30K steps in a day is a LOT of walking. I suppose I did that during 25 mile walk a thons, when those were popular in my youth, but it seems very ambitious now. Be sure to let us know when you do, so we can congratulate you. And there's a group called "move that booty" that has been recently set up for high volume walkers that, with that goal, you might want to join!

it shouldn’t be too difficult, I did 25,000 steps yesterday 😎. The most steps I’ve done in a day is 35,000 steps but that was a while ago now.

I didn't do too too bad.
#1 was probably the worst, especially on Saturday. I am so bad at tracking on weekends because my meals tend to be much more sporadic.
As for #2, I didn't get a treat on my trips to Panera... But when one of my bosses offered me a bagel I didn't refuse. And on Friday I went to the donut shop and got a donut and a coffee. I didn't even need the donut. The shop has a $5 minimum to use a card and since I was getting stuff for others I didn't need my own donut.
My goals are the same, plus another:
1) to track food with 95% accuracy
2) to not get a treat on my daily trip to Panera
3) to have a fruit in addition to a banana at work. I am quite good about having a banana every day, but I need more fruit in my day.
As for the other goals, technically the scale did read below 205 when I checked this morning. But I am not going to say I achieved it until it happens again so I know it wasn't a fluke.

@cchambers5906 eGFR 8 ➡️ 22 is an impressive improvement, here’s to your continued recovery! Nicely done.

Get below 99.5kg and finish my marathon walking by the end of the month.

Plateaued hard as soon as I said I can get to my goal weight by next week, and barely lost any weight for the last month or so. However, I am down to a size 10, so I bought new pants to wear on my business trip.
So, still trying to lose that last ~10lbs. This is the slow part, so maybe by my birthday? lol

My nieces graduation. Has brought me back to myfitnesspal. For motivation of working out and weight loss. Goal is to fit back into 36/ 34. Now 38. Possibly in future 32. Got a suit that I need to loose weight to fit in. Good news while working out. I have been completing my calorie burn goals.

I'm currently on my last 10 pounds but found it came off AND on at the same rate for me I just
avoided the scale. 😆
Today was weigh day and and I'm at 137 pounds 5 pounds from my max goal I'm honestly thinking that will take me to August.I have recently started ACTUALLY taking steps walks and current mini goal is 2000 steps twice a day. I just reached yesterday so next week it's 5000 to 6000 steps a day. I started last month with just 1000

@patriciafoley1 Yes! I know how exciting this is as it was my exact journey! Continue your progress and if this helps, one year ago I weighed 20 pounds more. 157 There comes a point where it's just fine tuning but maintaining is easy if you truly changed your eating and exercise habits . 😉

My mini-goal is to lose 2 lbs this week. I'm just starting back after regaining 40 of the 65 lbs I lost in 2020. I've set a pretty ambitious start-up goal b/c I need it right now. And I have the support of medication to help with my appetite, so it should be something I can achieve. Hoping to be back here in one week, able to report success.

It took 6 months to lose 50lbs, but only 1 1/2 months to gain 17lbs back. My mini goal is to refocus back on not exceeding my daily calorie target for 30 days straight.

It took me two years and three months to drop from 271 to present 190. I did it, not through any big diet change but from making sure I burn at least 400 calories more than I take in. I set attainable goals of 5-8 lbs at a time. I'm looking for 6 lb loss, just to see if I can reduce the few pounds in the thighs and a small tire in the middle.
When I started doing workouts, I hated it but, after the first dozen miserable sessions, I started to like the burn. I now workout with weights five days a week, shooting for 200 calories. I don't do cardio cardio and quit doing 3 mile hikes (ambles really) and bought a row machine that I do in 500 stroke sessions of about 20 min. It can be done without weighing out portions.

We are moving into a new city and a brand new house at the end of August. I want to weigh under 200 pds for the first time in 30 years. New place, new me 😎

I have a nice all white summer dress in my wardrobe that I really want to be able to use on the Midsummer Celebration in 4,5 weeks. It is hanging there being too small, no stretch material… and I just want to be able to wear it. But I guess that I have to lose something like 5-10 kg to get into the little thing.
So the real goal is to be able to wear it before the summer ends.

I want to become a momma and be healthy for my child, also seeing Jessie Murph and Tate McRae this year so need to look good🤣
