What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

Next mini is another 5lbs. That'll get me down a total of 75.5lbs. After that, I'll go after 5 more, to hit 170lbs, where I expect to maintain. I don't see me being much below that.1

At the moment, it is how good I feel after exercising. I just need to do it more often. That and how exercising shapes my body. It is soo rewarding.6

Mine is fitting into a pair of floral jeans I have. I can put them on but with a little weight loss in my thighs I know they'll look cute. I've got them hanging next to my desk to remind me everyday of my little goal.3

Getting six hours of sleep4

Been maintaining off and on for a few months and now am back on a deficit - hoping to get the 'final' 5 lbs off before Christmas.6
-
Gained 8lb over the last two months (and I know why),so i'm up at 183 I want to be 175 - my "normal" weight by early December.3

been maintaining the last 2 months. Goal is 10 lbs off-that healthy BMI for me-and I'll look great at my sisters spring wedding. I expect that will put me in consistent size 10 pants. I'm a 10/12 at the moment3

Got a couple super mini goals
1. To hit 204.7 and get out of the highest obesity class for my height.
2. Get under 200 by the end of the year. I'm at 207.5 and I'm sooo close!!!3 -
Next goal is to be obese. About 8 pounds to get there. After that, 285 by the new year.6
-
Barbados in January ....I would love 15 pounds by then!8

My first mini-goal is to break into the 100's. Right now about 213-214. This will be hard with Halloween candy and Thanksgiving and Christmas. I can do it though!! Down 7lbs from my highest weight 1 month ago so my goal is to keep going and not giving up no matter how hard it gets.6

I found out this morning that I weigh less than my husband. A couple months ago, we weighed about the same. We both stopped caring as much and let life interfere and gained back some weight. This morning he was griping about the amount he has gained and he now weighs more than me. My next goal is to loose 10 pounds to get below 190. This will put me out of the obese category and in the overweight category. I'm hoping I'll still weigh less than him at that point in time, but less than now is more important.6

I'm hovering at 200 lbs for the past week. I slacked off and ate a tiny bit more, and exercised a little less, so the scale hasn't moved at all for about 2 weeks. Going from the 2's to the 1's might also be a mental barrier. So my mini-goal is to get to 198 by Nov 15th. I don't anticipate many issues with the Holidays - just the actual Thanksgiving and Christmas Day meals, and I will watch my intake carefully. I want to be at 190 by January 1st but I won't be devastated if I miss it by a couple of pounds. Then I will get back in gear and double up efforts to be at 170 by April 23rd - my second mini-goal. That is the week of the major Quilt Show in Paducah KY and I've been planning my trip for over a year. That was one of the main reasons I started losing weight - to be able to walk and stand for almost a week straight.10

Tracking everything til 2017!
“So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday.” - The Notebook. (Me to me every morning)11 -
This morning I reached a healthy BMI! Now to come up with a new goal! Even though at this point I can see my final goal on the horizon. 25 pounds ago I never thought it would be possible! about 20 more pounds to go!

Abs by xmas.2

To lose another 1.5 - 2lbs as then I'll have lost half of my starting weight. Plus I'll only be 25lbs from my goal weight.6
-
9 lbs to normal BMI, 6lbs to 130s (my personal idea of "normal" for me). I also bailed on my workouts this week and my hard won baby muscles need my attention.4
-
To shave off another inch off my waist this November6
-
Two pounds from the 130s... I think the scale was inaccutate two months or so ago when it told me I was 138 because I'd been 143-145 ever since! I've been holding steady at 141.6ish the past week on diff scales so I'm thinking that is right. Lol
To get the last two packs of my six pack EVENTUALLY and have a LITTLE more DEF in my current four pack..when I'm bloated (which is often) they aren't as discernible.
Still need an inch off my arms... I know we can't spot reduce so hoping these last few pounds (7, as I CAN NOT go below 135 at 5'8 for me to keep ANY type of shape) will do the trick with my strength training.

At this point, the next milestone is 100 pounds lost.9

I want to lose 3 kilos by Christmas - stop gaining and losing the same 2 lbs.8
-
To be able to wear size 12 again. I currently wear a 16 comfortably but I can fit a 14.8

wow. just rediscovered this thread and found my original post from August! I now weigh 281. Sometimes I forget how far I've come when I think about how much I have to lose!
My updated mini goal:
I am running a 5k on Sunday. I would like to:
-have fun
-finish it
-run the whole thing
-run it in less than 45 min
-weigh under 280 by then
Prioritized in that order!!! I keep reminding myself that it's amazing enough that I'm running a 5k at all, and I shouldn't stress about speed etc.
btw, update on my back rolls: still there (faintly) but they don't roll onto themselves so I can't tuck my shirt into them anymore hahah17 -
That is a good question. I haven't really thought much about mini goals. I am focused in on the "finish" line. Fat tub of lard to six pack beast.
Although, one of the other guys at work who has also been working out and meal prepping but cheating did do a double take when he realized I was catching him. He wasn't to happy about and the look on his face was awesome. It wasn't to long ago that we were about 75 pounds apart. It just a bonus but I will thoroughly enjoy passing him up.
Haha, I almost forgot about this. He doesn't know it yet but as of this morning, I have him beat by about 5 pounds.7 -

I hear ya. I'm 2 lbs away from my next goal and 6 lbs away from 200 lbs but have been losing agonizingly slowly since September so I think it's a mental thing for me too.
We can do this!3 -
To maintain my weight until January, then maintain some more.8
