I will probably still think less of people if they reply to an OP without reading the other replies.

    Sorry, not sorry.

I'm sure your opinion of me must be in the gutter then @Orphia  because almost the only fun I now get out of foruming on MFP is thread bingo

    read OP
    answer
read up and see who I've agreed with, disagreed with and unconsciously insulted

since we are now devoid of any form of personality I must get my jollies somewhere

I almost created a thread titled, "Is there anyone else out there that purposely only reads the OP before commenting?"

I thought I was the only one. I'm glad to know I'm not.

Ive been known to leave the cart in the lot at aldi. I almost always have 3 kids ages 16months, 15months and 6 months with me. I can either leave them alone in the car to return the cart, or i can try to carry them all back to the car at once (not easy, lol!).

Your children really will be fine left in the car for the minute it takes you to return your trolley.

yep agreed. i have had a few dings in my car when people leave their trolleys lying about

I will try not to judge 'volume eaters' as 'greedy'. I have a small appetite so its hard to relate. Sorry

    Ouch. That's pretty close minded.

I'm a volume eater. Causes me to eat lots of veg, so I guess I should resolve to be less judgy of those who claim they can't eat veg, but sorry, can't do that, picky eaters irritate me.

Ditto. I don't love veggies but I eat them because I can't imagine keeping a (somewhat) healthy diet without eating them.

I tried that. It was excruciating. It didn't work for me but what doesn't work for me might work for you. We're all different. Good luck!

I was brought up with the view that being considered greedy was one of the worst things -so no second helpings for us and our serving sizes were scrutinised. Its kind of stuck with me and its hard to shake.

Doesnt mean we never over indulged - we did on occasion but it was mostly done in secret- which i know is messed up.

I just deleted a whole reply because I'm trying to be less snarky. Man this is hard.

I resolve to stop being a stubborn American and work a bit more in the metric system, such that I can stop skipping over all threads written in the latter because I have no idea if losing 15 kg is a big deal or not. I'll also someday remember what a stone is and better support those across the pond.

I still have no idea what a stone is but I got the metric system down!

A stone is 14 pounds...I sometimes do the math and post it in the thread.

Other than grams and kilometers no clue about metric, but I can use a converter!

I guess this is more of a wish than a resolution but all I want my back fixed, I currently have a slipped disc pushing on a nerve and I'm in a lot of the pain all the time. I'm seeing a specialist on 13th so that's the first step, it has taken a very long time to get to this point on the NHS.

A resolution would be get out more, be social, find a job. I've always hidden away because of my weight but that's no longer an issue. 2015 was all about losing the weight that trapped me inside, 2016 is about actually going outside.

I will just quietly eat keto and stay out of keto wars, keto magic, and ketodrama. I came here for help to lose weight, not my mind. If asked I will repeat my mantra, that 'all diets that ultimately involve CICO are created equal, except those that involve ingesting green slime'.

    What is green slime?

Also, so far as I can see, the only ketodrama is caused by people claiming that keto is the OneTrueWay.

Oh! I guess we'll never be friends *cries*. I actually weigh in stones just because it's the most familiar but am happy with pounds and kilos too (and actually put pounds when noting a milestone for my international friends). I'm a multi-national multi-cultural multi-measurement sort!

No, don't do it! My two favorite words also! We should say it more often in 2016.

Okay, quick sidebar if you'll permit what I'm sure is a very dumb question. What does your scale show? Kilos? Pounds? Or does it actually show stones? Sorry, I'm sure this is one of those questions half of you are laughing at, but least a few others are curious about as well, lol.
