Thanks @_incogNEATo_ and @LolBroScience ! And yes, yes it is a lot of squats LOL. It's not too bad yet, but I know when I get up past 250-260# again, it's really going to suck.1 -

I just did 250x20 squats on Friday and it did suck! I probably could have done 275 if I didn't attempt 250 first. No way was I going to try two 20-rep sets in one workout!1 -

Yeah, one 20 rep set is all for me per workout LOL. If I was going to do more I'd be dropping weight, not increasing. Was working out with a friend of a friend about a month and a half ago and he was doing a 5x10 program and was at 265#0 -

I was just looking to hit a new widowmaker PR and I picked 250 as a nice round number that I thought was doable. This was right after I worked up to a new squat 5RM at 410.0 -
Had a really good deadlift session this weekend. 400x8. Exceed rep goal by 1. (Wendler's week 3.)
Usually I do joker sets, or go for more reps at the top set, but I had kind of forgot them but anyway, I finished strong with 255x5x10 deficit deadlifts and 150x3x8,10 landmine barbell rows.
Deload this week which means some light work ahead and plenty of extra mobility and stretching.7 -
531 Cycle 4 week 2. Top set 375. Needed 3, got 10. Old rep PR: 8, new 10)! Could've went for some joker sets up to 435, but I decided to drop down to 245 and do 3in deficit pulls instead. 5x15 for extra volume. #cardio

Second day after switching back to hybrids. Hips joint swelling going down after stopping conventionals so less pain .
Final pull set: 1 X 330 X 13

Since my last meet I've been doing a lot of high volume work. Today called for 5x8@75%. Only one 8 rep set happened but it was a rep pr at 72.5kg. Zero clue how I'm going to pull off the 5x10@80% next week.

20 rep squat program is only one set of 20. it does suck. But it's a specific thing- as @McCloud33 mentioned.0 -

I'm definitely not doing the 20 rep squat program because I'm not crazy! I was just attempting a 20 rep PR one time for a widowmaker challenge.0 -

I guess I'm just freaking insane then LOL Your 1RM is 100-150 more than mine and I'll be at 250x20 this time next week 235x20 this morning...probably pushing 70% of my 1RM2 -
This morning's workout...
240x20 squat - last 5 were rough
140 OHP 5,5,5,5*,0 (*4th set was about 2 OHP and then 3 push press)
365x5 DL
Squat felt decent...OHP felt so much heavier at 140 than 135 on Monday ...DL felt strong.
20 squats just takes up so much video time even when sped up x2 LOL

Max floor press- 155x1
On another note I haven't done deadlifts in 10 days. Can't wait to train tomorrow, even if its just speed work! I'm having major deadlift withdrawal.3 -

Finally lifting again. Took some time off due to a small back injury (caused by a violent sneeze??). Now I get to go into a deload week to prep for my meet next weekend... two weeks lifting light, what a drag!

Oh, no, this 365 is close to my 1RM (although it was after the chains as a test of willpower). Light work for me was doing sets of ten with 135 earlier this week.0 -

I thought the 225 with chains was your light...1 -
Today was the first day in two years that I've broken my programming. Today my mom has surgery to remove a grapefruit sized ovarian mass and probably the mass on her kidney as well. So going in and doing some core and back like my program called for just wasn't going to happen. So I pulled heavy singles instead. And worked up to a post mcl sprain pr of 162.5kg, only 2.5kg off of my gym max, and 7.5kg off of my platform pr.

Nothing special but wanted to share my new lifting shoes!... I had front squats and while my right knee is starting to get cranky with the front squat I felt really good about using the shoes. Today I back squat so I'm excited about that as well.
