HA HA HA HA- that's because IG won't let me post all *kitten* 4 minutes of it- I forgot to load the thing up on youtube- where you can witness all the giggling awkward in it's full glory.
I didn't care honestly- I was just trying not to die. LMAO.
Fortunately for me (and or him?) he's a pretty good friend- I should get someone shorter though- poor E is like 6 plus- so him trying to get me out of the hole is a pain in the *kitten*- coupled with the titty touching- it was just- HA- fun times.
I think at lock out it would have been weird for sure- Like- I'm up dude- I'm good- I don't need your help.
IG videos- I hit the 3 dots at the top that say "copy share url" and it copies to my clipboard then I just hit paste.
I also have a "Regramm" app- so I don't know if that has something to do with it. (WHY THE ***K you can't regram something w/ in the actual IG system I have no idea- I need a bloody app to repost something from someone else- that's stupid)2 -
I've spotted women and have never had to grab their boobs to help them out of the hole. Of course if I were stuck and about to die I wouldn't care too much. If someone grabbed me by the balls and squeezed I'd probably come up out of the hole super fast,lol.4

I think there is a little learning curve on where to comfortably put your hands- we don't have many women that need a real actual help out of the hole on a spot. I'd say most of the time we get a spot it's for mental security- I can't say I've ever seen any of the girls really spotted out of the hole on a real heavy lift. So- not many of the guys have to actually do it.
I suspect the fact that my friend is f**king huge didn't help- him being down that low to the grown is undoubtedly awkward.0 -
So you educated him on proper spotting, lol. I was at the gym with my 24 year old nephew and surprised at what he dead lifted. He weighs 185 and hit a set of 10 with 410 lbs. I was impressed. He had been struggling with lifts, now he is all scientific about it and doing well.
Been helping my 14 year old nephew too. He benched 225 for 4 and 250 for a single weighing 162. I'm damn, only a freshman too.

yeah- it'll be better next time LMAO.
Damn- that's impressive- I wish I was young and was more serious about training back then- I was running and we did lift in the off season- but I didn't get serious about it till late high school into college. Man where I could have been had I taken it seriously.
Glad they are moving along making progress with it- that's fricking cool.1 -
Yeah, I'm old and running out of certain lifts I can do. Wonder myself had I not stopped lifting at 34 where would I be now. But I will keep lifting heavy in what I can and light in what I can't. Mean while I'll enjoy helping others succeed. I got a few more meets in me even if it's just benching.

Hit the Previous meet PR (270 lbs) for a triple tonight.
And down FIVE belt holes!11 -
I hit a double DL PR on Saturday while my gym bro hit a cartwheel PR. Previous single PR (actual) was only 10 lbs more than this. I was super geeked. I can't wait to test squat and deadlift in a few weeks. 84kg class for those who monitor such things.

Feels like forever since I've been on here to post. A good workout last Friday after not calorie restricted for a week.
https://youtu.be/2vYEThTKN-8
Then good upper body this week with a 220x5 bench and 140x7 OHP

Squat has felt weak this week though 315x2 was all I could do Monday (failed on 3rd) and I had a little deload day yesterday. We'll see how she feels tomorrow.
I think all the pull-ups I've been doing are helping the OHP though...I'm up about 10 lbs on my calc 1rm. I'm up to doing 40 in about 6-7 min. Next week will be 45.7 -
Didn't feel well fueled at all today so I pulled the pin a little early on trying to grind through the last five of these, especially on my own.
While I'm disappointed I'm not making 225 for 20 I am pleased at the progress... So 210 for 15 and then five.

You're awesome JoRocka! I decided to do one of CT Fletcher ' s workouts. Bench day- 210 reps 15-20 reps at a time with 225 lbs. I'm cramping like hell today. Maybe not such a good idea but it was different. Minimal time between sets, basically catch my breath shake my arms out little bit and get after it.0 -

Damn son. I did that many reps for my shoulder but my working squat set is only the 20 reps. I'd have puked if I tried to hit 200 reps squatting. Oof. You're a monster my friend. Truly a monster.
Good work!0 -
145x9
160x5
170x2
Did these three sets immediately after my working sets. The extra volume hasn't effected me in the gym, but fuk am I destroyed the next day...lol.

Squats are still plateauing - 300x5 for my 3+ day of 5/3/1
Bench on the other hand is feeling great! 5+ day for bench with a rep goal of 9...grinded out a 10th rep!
And moved up to 45 pull-up reps in 7 min this morning too...10-10-5-5-5-5-5 alternating between wide, neutral and underhand grip.

And we have essentially the end of my program. I'm going to repeat what I did here with 220 and get as many as I can and go for broke. And then again with 225. If it any get a full twenty in one shot I'll aim for twenty total.

I have been forever patiently waiting for the USAPL National Office release the officials from the January 28th Wisconsin State Meet, but it's been almost a month and nothing and I wanted to give an update. now that I have pictures. As you may remember, I came off injury to compete in this meet starting 16 weeks out, from a QL, Internal Oblique and some other things. In fact, because of the injury, my left leg was a an inch shorter than the other and I was walking with a limp. I was in bad shape.
After cutting weight from 212 lbs down to 204 (92,5kg) all week, Saturday morning arrived and it was time to test all that training.
Squats: 2/3. 187.5kg/413 lbs - 3rd attempt. I blew my first attempt (still not sure why) so I had to end up
Bench Press: 2/3. 142.5/314 lbs. ⚪️⚪️⚪️ Tied previous meet best. Went back for 150/330 and hosed that. Next time. Sorry, no good pictures on this one.
Failed third attempt of 150/330. I was feeling pretty confident, but should have gone 147.5 as I've done that in practice before.
Deadlift: 3/3.
225kg/495 lbs. first attempt. ⚪️⚪️⚪️ Conservative opener, that moved quite well.
240kg/529 lbs. last attempt. ⚪️⚪️⚪️ All time PR that finally ended a year plus plateau hindered by chest, back injuries. Now I'm healthy again, I'm going to continue to crush this lift. Really felt good to end the meet on PR.
I'm back in my first week of training after this meet. Next one I plan on is in June and maybe a Strongman event thrown in. Atlas Stones, so.... In the meantime, I am still in the boring process of reload squat and deadlift. Blah.
Anyway, it was great to stick to a plan so far out not even knowing if I was going to be able to more than just bench. Really happy with the results.5 -

Block pulls with 160kg. I adore the results of fixing some long standing muscle imbalances.

Finally results posted from the State Open. And I'm so happy to see that my Wilks -- excluding the Wolf Open where I was injured -- improved 11 points!
I'm not quite batting 400 yet, but I'll get there now I'm injury free. I realize that for a guy my size, I'm relatively not that strong. Last year was kind of a lost year. Sigh. I hope I can make up for that time this year.6 -

Those are some sick stats USAPL makes available. I love that kind of stuff. Congrats on the increase in wilks. I've been stuck at 352 for a few years and can't seem to get past it.1 -

It is awesome seeing it visual form. I think Quebec also has something similar.2
