Hi everyone! Hope everyone is still seeing a lot of success on their road to being THINNER and HEALTHIER!

    My update:
I am walking more at work now, and i am FINALLY feeling better than i have in the last 2 months! I am starting back on my clean eating....WHEW :/ ... i have really enjoyed the foods that i was missing out on, but it ALL came at a price!
Yes the food was great, but i GAINED 8 lb back!!! :(
So, was it worth it? I would say YES AND NO, and here is why...

I would say yes b/c i was on a LCHF diet which was very strict for ME! I did very well, and i really liked the diet, but having the opportunity to eat carbs again was so worth the wait!!!
When you deprive yourself of ANY type of food for too long, your body will only crave it even more!
So, i say YES it was worth it b/c i had the opportunity to enjoy some of the foods that i really loved and missedout on!

NOW...here is the BIGGEST reason why i hate that i went back to unclean eating....LOW ENERGY!!!!!
I did not have half the energy that i had before on the LCHF diet, and i felt sluggish everyday which was also a NEGATIVE!
I felt heavier, compared to how light and healthier i felt previously...and b/c i had very low energy, i hardly did any ADDITIONAL exercising! My only workout was working!!! That's so sad!!! :(
Before, i worked out EVERYDAY...i walked, jogged, jumped rope, cardio, strength training, C2k etc...
But once i started consuming too many carbs, that ALL went sown the drain!

So, i share my story as a reminder....

To always EAT IN MODERATION...Enjoy the foods that you love, but do so in SMALL QUANTiTIES!!!!!!!
and.... stick to WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!!!!

Please share your journey so that it may help someone else on their road to success!!!
Thanks everyone for stopping by!!! :)<3<3<3

    Hey everyone!

I'd like to lose about 30 more pounds which is past my original weight loss goal. So far i've lost 58 pounds! I'm doing clean eating, HIIT 6 days a week and just started the 30 day shred to build muscle and lose inches. Mixed in I walk 1.5 miles with my dog and recently just did my first 5k run last weekend.

I had gotten really good at going to the gym every other day for about 45 minutes but slacked due to a knee injury.

I've hit a spot where the scale isn't really budging so i'm trying to tweak things to get it going again!

    Add me!

I'm with you @wahagent05 - although I don't do well putting actual number/time goals on my schedule. I always seem to miss the mark. But instead, I'll just say my goal for August is to just continue my progress. I've switched up my eating to focus on protein. I don't cut out carbs, but make a conscious effort to choose protein first. Seems to be working - the scale is finally moving (in the right direction). A supplemental goal for August is to up my exercise. It's been sporadic - need to get back into my daily routine.

Congratulations @MaxT370 on your weight loss - 58 pounds is awesome!

Yes tweaking does help....this way you will find out what works for you and your body! Everyone hits plateaus....it's just gonna happen....and when it does....tweaking helps boots things in your favor!

Thanks for posting...I think everyone goes through a phase of ups and downs! The last few months have been really rough for me! I'm walking more, but not eating as well as i was before!
I know what works for me, but its incredibly hard to stick to a low carb lifestyle... for me anyways!!!
Good Luck on your journey, and no matter what....keep moving...don't give up... the results will come!

Thanks! I'm actually over 70 pounds lost now! The 30 day shred is completely worth the time and effort. Pair that with good, clean eating and it works very effectively!

It's a New Year! So therefore....it's time for NEW CHANGES!!!!! Let's get back on track everyone! This all starts with making a commitment to do better, to stick to our goals, to pick yourself up every time you fail, and most of all to BELIEVE that it is possible....it only takes being motivated, eating better and sometimes less....and MOVING!!!!
