    What I wanted to say is great job today! I know it felt good to hit your goals! And don't worry about being embarrassed. No judgment here! Cuz in that case, my head would be so far under the sand that I would be on the other side of the world. Lol

    :( well I started off great but something came up and I didn't focus well. I have to stop letting things throw me off.

    I ended with 7500 steps, 6 cups of water, 1 fruit serving, 2 veggies, and no intended exercise. I am not elated that I didn't make my goals again but I am at least trying. :)

    @MissMonicaC4 good goals! I keep telling myself I am going to start doing squats, but have yet to do them

    @tbolashana your checking earlier showed you staying on track. :+1: Can't wait to hear how your day ended.

    Update on Thursday's goals
    Goals for Thursday
    #1 atleast 8,000 steps.
    #2 WALK (instead of drive) to the work meeting that's 3 blocks away from my office
    #3 drink 8 glasses of water
    #4 do some form of activity after work for a minimum of 10 minutes (hiking on very hilly dirt trails, pushups/jumping jacks/sit-ups, etc

    #1 I got over 16,000 steps in (and 107 floors of stairs)
    #2 walked to my meeting even though my boss kept offering to have me ride with her
    #3 drank quite a bit more than 8 glasses of water (I stopped keeping track after 10 glasses)
    #4 did 95 minutes of hiking on steep dirt trails
    Hit all goals and kept my food in check!

    Man! That's great! Your goals were huge and you met them all!

    Peer pressure is always there. People thinking they are doing your a favor or getting you to enjoy a little treat but they don't realize it is not a help. Good job resisting the ride!

    Take my vitamins

    My steps are ambitious but I will be out today and think I will get this or more. And I have really been slacking with my vitamins, so this is a goal for me now.

    I'm kind of new here and don't know how to do the blue @... thing...

    So great job everyone and keep it up today!! Meet those goals! End the work week strong!!! Don't know about you guys but weekends are always the toughest for me, so I will make myself update throughout.

    So far for me today:

    1. Got up early and did a 45 min workout. (this thread def motivated me to accomplish that)
    2. 4000 steps (goal 14000)
    3. 350 cals (goal <1200)
    4. drank 2 water bottles (goal 4)

    1. Count every calorie
    2. Drink 10 cups of water
    3. Jump rope 5x today for 5-10 minutes since I won't be able to get all steps in.

    Goals for Friday
    #1 get a minimum of 8,000 steps in (I struggle with this! The only reason I've been getting more than 4,000 steps/day has been because of this thread)
    #2 do something productive after work instead of watching TV the whole evening
    #3 keep calories intake to no more than 1,400

    Friday update:
    #1 got just over 8,000 steps
    #2 went out to dinner with friends and then we all went for a walk
    #3 went over by only 60 or so calories, so not too bad
    Hit 2/3, so not bad!

    @Treehugger_88 glad you came back! And thanks for the cheering on :smile: (to do that @blue name thing, just put an @ sign, no spaces, start typing in the persons username and options of usernames appear and you just click on the one you want. Hope that helps)

    @mgookin1 did you get all of that jumping rope in? I admire you because that's a lofty goal to me

    @jlemoore did you survive the day without sugar/candy? I could probably resist the cravings until noon, and then I'd have to go to bed in order to avoid caving

    @RebekahRN83 got it, thanks! 2/3 nice job! I also hit all my goals except for my caloric one. Was a few hundred over though, oh well, tomorrow's another day. Let's hit our calorie goal tomorrow!!!

    My today was 3/4:
    1. 45 min, check.
    2. 16,000 steps, check.
    3. 1700, oops.
    4. 4 bottles, check.

    Tomorrow:
    1. 45 min workout
    2. 15,000 steps
    3. <1500 cals
    4. 4 bottles water

    Just got home from work.
    I completed all but the jump roping. I got 3/5 sessions done, but I did get 7k steps in today at work. So I am happy with today's results.

    So I didn't meet all my goals. But I made an effort.

    I thought I would walk more but I did make it to 9980, so almost 10k and I got in only 1 veggie. The goals I DID make were my water, my vitamins, and my fruit! A step in the right direction.

    Weekends are always the hardest for me with 3 kids at home. My husband is taking my 2 1/2 year old to see monster trucks today so I'm going to do my strong runner workout while they are gone. Of course that's only going to work if my 10 week old twins take a nap

    - get in my exercise
    - eat healthy all day
    - enjoy myself tonight!

    Hey guys sorry I wasn't here a lot today. I was outside tending to my garden. I have started a compost pile for the first time and I am excited!

    I have been gardening for about 2 years and every year I try to do a little more. This is my 3rd year and I am tackling composing. I read some about it and hopefully will be an expert when this year is done. ;)

    I love gardening despite the fact I am afraid of bugs. But I move fast when they are next to me and leave them alone--after all, I am in there house when I'm outside.

    So you will be reading me talking about gardening from time to time. I love it and have to share sometimes.

    I didn't make any goals for today because I was out early and then started gardening and then went to the park for an hour. But I got in 10500 steps and 4 cups of water. Not any significant amount of fruits or veggies to report (sad I know). But I enjoyed my day and will put in more effort tomorrow.
