I understand that mfp is not a dating a site, but if a male and a female want to meet up, what's the issue?
Going to the gym isn't a dating event, but people meet, that's life.
At the end of the day, if two people have something in common and want to flirt or whatever, what's the big deal?

I met up with an MFP friend when he was in town. It was actually really fun and I highly recommend everyone putting it on their bucket list.13

Offline, you get the it's none of your business retort. Hard to hand it out. But absolutely, if you have to bond over yogurts, you should by all means, no matter who is jealous.
Is this a bad time to tell you I like Greek yoghurt with honey, you could be my match made in heaven!8 -

Well now you gotta tell about it!9 -
It's not my fault that every site becomes a dating site when I sign up.
Must be 'cause I'm so pretty27 -
Or a male and a male, or a female and a female. I think as long as it doesnt disrupt the site theres no reason not to meet people on here.4

Ohhhhh there's no chill when "Netflix and chill" happens. That's actual work. Y'all burned some calories I'm sure so I think it's fine.
My date wasn't a sexual one haha

Seems to me that it's whatever you want or need it to be. Want to only track your progress? You got it! Want to invite friends for support and accountability, that's cool too!! Want to meet new people with similar goals, or see people's success stories, or share a funny joke you heard today? Bring it!! If you see someone you find attractive and want to flirt a little, why the heck not? It's what we each individually make it to be for ourselves.
Or at least that's the way I see it.14 -
